Thing is, devs already did a very good work compressing the best they can, plus it's very difficult, to not say impossible, to compress an unity game. You can do it with renpy, even with rpgm, I think, but not with unity.
So maybe the reaction of the other user was because it was asked so many times, and it's always the same explanation.
