Almost 1 year for an update, almost 1 month for 5% test. What happened to the developer? ICstor told them how to do it?
Very good question oulala93...I hope we are not going to see an "abandoned" tag here next?Almost 1 year for an update, almost 1 month for 5% test. What happened to the developer? ICstor told them how to do it?
This is actually a great point. I only support devs who keep their word or miss a deadline by a day or two and are always upfront about it. And even then I only start supporting them once they've shown consistency. Devs like Icstor, Gumdrop and so many others make you doubt if you want to support new devs due to the current trends in the industry. Milkin is synonymous with porn games nowadays. These devs killing the industry. More and more people dont want to support devs anymore due to constants milking
Yeah, I also only support a few devs who actually deliver constant updates in regular time intervals (which are not a year for release), even tho I liked and still like so many games here. BTW I've seen speculations that ICSTOR actually died and his/her partner just kept patreon running for some easy cash, as change that happened at one point of time seemed to drastic to just talk about milking. This is actually a great point. Nobody gives a crap about R12 when your coder/tester is playing with his bean bag on R11From Motkeyz's Patreon page:

Perfect example of how Finagle's rule works: "Teamwork is essential. It allows you to blame someone else. "
It does. Plenty of games on Android are running in Unity.hope someday Android can support unity

What's your opinion on if no deadlines are given and any dev reports are kept vague for the most part? I feel like that can be just as disingenuous in some cases. This is actually a great point. Yea, that used to be a personal rule for me. Although, now I just don't really care. Kind of burnt out on long-time games taking longer and longer with each update as well as all these new ones popping up suddenly then fizzling out after building a bunch of hype with no much to show for it.Yeah, I also only support a few devs who actually deliver constant updates in regular time intervals (which are not a year for release), even tho I liked and still like so many games here.

As I said before, I only start supporting devs when I have some kind of trust. I never trust a dev that's vague about their intentions or the progress of the game. I also have no trust in devs who aren't organised enough to estimate when they can or can not deliver something on a time frame even if they aren't scammers/milkers. Developers need to communicate their intentions, what type of content is gonna be in the game, how frequently it's going to be updated, how big or long each update is etc...What's your opinion on if no deadlines are given and any dev reports are kept vague for the most part? I feel like that can be just as disingenuous in some cases.
