honestly, the author gave us many choices in LI, and even in a single LI's path we have a few choices to get on her path later or to change our mind. maybe the dev is reaching critical mass in all these choices, and can't handle that many. knowing there will be new LIs later, it's worrying.

I will choose Valentina if I can choose one faction while align with other, if not either Estrid or most likely Kaylan looks like both are accepted by all the factions. We'll see what will be our options, we have not done with our Queen tour.

I'd choose Anna in heart beat...
But from the currently available ones, Estrid or Kaylan, maybe Eliana. Also with the military faction you can ally either west or east faction, so soldiers and money is it.

I don’t if it’s been discussed before and if I’m the only one thinking this, but Felix is THE number one suspect to me, for many reasons:

1 – his sudden departure before the bal. When MC asks Nicabar, he says Felix’s wife is very ill, but when Felix is back, he says his son was ill but it was nothing.
2 – Flavia is very pissed at Felix, and we still don’t know why. He must have done/said something really bad to her because Flavia now hates MC too.
3 – He is the only one who found and executed the traitor guards working for Aristhenes, and also the one who found out that Aristhenes was conspiring with the East region. No proof, nada, except for a poor letter.
4 – he insists on the fact that MC should find an advisor, someone he deeply trusts, and definitely not a woman.
5 – Nicabar is now ill. Who is jumping at the opportunity to replace him? Yes, Felix again.

My theory: Felix poisoned the King and has now also poisoned Nicabar. He is obsessed by the MC, he sees him as a god, and wanted him to quickly become the new King and be his advisor/right-hand/general/whatever. He may also have abducted Cassia knowing MC would find her and be seen as a hero.

Yes, yes, yes. It has been discussed before (save for maybe the kidnapping, but now Tulia has hinted the culprit(s) are still unknown). But you are right: Felix is a snake. I hate it when the game forces the MC to do something contrary or stupid. It forces us to trust Felix when he's the second least trustworthy after Marius, at least until Marius' secret was revealed. Aristhenes, ironically, was always trustworthy, in that we know he actually wouldn't betray us, rather we could have controlled him by always directing him to our objective, provided we gave him the necessary information, but the game again forces us to not inform him of things we had every reason to do so.

Aelinia or Valentina,and choosing the east faction, with Lydia as a royal advisor. with a council of wives, each leading the field she is best at.

I want to side with the east so its pretty easy Lydia, if why ever the queen and faction isn't hard locked I will take Valentina and east/order, but as far as i understood that's not possible.

yeah its pretty stupid you already have some LIs that want to modernise the government, so why not make a Council of advisors filled with your LIs, doesn't make sense to not do it like that.

I strongly suspect Felix is Aricellus's illegitimate son, and he is attempting to position himself to seize the throne. Putting him in charge of an army in the field might not be the wisest move unless you want him marching on Caudium.
