A bit over midway through June now, and we are past the date I originally hoped (back in February) to have this next chapter out by. Chapter 12 has grown substantially from what I envisioned then, and, as I've said a few times here, I expect much larger updates going forward. Add to that some additional things I am going to include in Chapter 12, and that's how we blew past that release date. So, I'm done predicting release dates until I have a beta ready. There is still a lot of content to get ready for Chapter 12, but things are progressing very well. No significant issues holding up development, nothing that is grinding anything to a halt. Just a whole lot of steady work ahead.
The new workflow has been a pleasure to use, and I've begun trying to find a better way to track all the different elements of the story branches. Still working on that part. At least the story is all planned out until the end.
Speaking of story, there is quite a bit of fun coming up for that. A lot of major choices are coming up in the next two chapters, but you'll also have a lot of small choices that provide smaller variations to the story. Those aren't ones I envision you would ever do a replay for, but they are fun nonetheless, as they will impact character interactions (even if only for a scene or two).
Special renders for patrons should be out by the weekend, and I hope you've enjoyed the bonus renders here and on Discord. With the new workflow, it is easy and almost fun to set those up, and it has given me an opportunity to get some new environments ready for this chapter.
