You know, it seems the Gauls king is a some jerk with an overinflated ego, while the Danes king is less known to us but has some shrewd at least. So... Id say either do some bootlicking to Gauls, either show Danes the country is already strong itself. Besides, that "varangian legion" could do some nice stabby-stab in the back.
Do you think just one week later, something changed from "I'm done predicting release dates until I have a beta ready" ?

yes back in a day when king/queen/emperor/empress/etc were still titles with power, today not so much since titles are mostly ceremonial.Aren't most kings jerks with over-inflated egos?

maybe, last update took longer cause dev decided to switch rendering to unreal engine and no news about next update.
I am having issues unzipping the latest update.
I found no answer searching the thread. Hopefully someone can answer these issues.
1.
Tried several of the uploaded files.
They unzip but encounter an error.
2.
I also notice that there is an image in chapter 10 that is 222mb.
3.
It has been a few updates since I checked back. Why is there a decompiler and deobfuscate script in the zip?
I found no answer searching the thread. Hopefully someone can answer these issues.

Not sure what you mean, I downloaded it fine and compressed it and posted it.
I had to try a few different extraction programs. It looks like my extraction program had issues with your file.
I originally thought it was an issue with the upload, as I have never encountered this issue before with any of the other files here, on patreon, or on itch

Great game! I read about people making various alliances, but even though I played through chapter 11, I only recall getting offers, and few/no choices how as no queen was chosen.
Background story/lore implies setting is in Hellenistic world such as later Roman empire or kingdom split off. One thing I thought weird about that is how some/many women are shaved (at least the royals?) which possibly isn't historically accurate, with Latins/Romans/Italians having copied Greeks, whom generally didn't do that, though Egyptians did, and at one point were taken over by Greeks, then I don't know if the style stayed or not. I know after pornography mostly evolved from magazines to Internet that style became more popular after some decades, so a fair number of males now may even prefer that and dislike hair, but some games have it as a yes/no choice. It doesn't really detract from how entertaining gameplay/story is.

isn't the top photo(not screenshot) from before the MC goes to the capital ...
meaning hes still out East on a war campaign and time passes before he reaches the capital ..
also the the codex was added later on (as far as i remember) meaning the info is from later on not the first scene off this avn
its very well possible valentina is already 19 at the current time in the avn
but lets not go to deep into the age off the the pixels off this photo off the screen whit this avn on it
