The costumes are great and he should do more of that. It's a good game, but it seems like Siren has "lost the plot" lately. Do people play porn games for voice acting and sprite scenes? I play most games with the sound off. No reason to have rpgmaker tracks burn a hole in my head. Having unique sprites for characters is great, it keeps the player invested in the game. But sprites are merely representations of the character - it is the art that makes the character come alive. Sprite sex scenes pull the player out of the game.

On the echo scenes: when Siren said he was adding echo scenes to pad out the scenes it sounded like we would gradually be getting more than 2-3 scenes per update, instead most updates the echo scenes have been 1 of the 2-3 scenes. Art is time consuming and expensive, yet instead of growing the # of scenes he has in a sense, shrank the # of scenes.

Not to mention, most of the voice 'acting' is just moans anyway, why pay for it?

Yup, but one of them is just starting. I feel like, though, that when it's clear that the quality is getting worse and worse, that one of them should be put on hold until the issues are worked out. I get that there can be hold up on the art side, but come on, it's a miniscule amount of effort either way. Seriously, there used to be just 2 scenes every 2 months - thats 1 drawing every 30 days. I haven't played the new update, but sounds like one of the scenes was even just a recolouring of an old one, which is even worse than the already very sparse amount of content we got.

I don't understand why people spend their money this way, but that's up to them I guess.

Well atleast one of those is close to being completed as ZR is pretty much heading for "completed" within the next 3-5 Updates I suppose... as long as s/he doesn't add more bonus content to the next releases... and this one is getting closer aswell.
only lust route still needs some quests and probably a conclusive "Bossbattle".
Site characters from Valencia might be added after game was completed to keep it going for a few more updates.

You can complain about stuff without paying for it.

That said, the fact that 90% of comments are about how to do certain stuff or asking for saves is annoying. There should be a separate thread for that.

it helps if you had a brain sorry not sorry... if you feel you cant use a damn search bar OR google then no your not helping your adding to the problem why this thread gets toxic... its normally not even the devs fault its usually user error and that's why there is damn search bar.

agreed but that is objective to who could say they liked the ending or if they wanted the certain ending. usually I don't give that much thought so if it stands out that's a plus.

oh no not that kinda question because I have a valid reply lol... for starters if you or anyone including me have a "critic" review it should be on what and how and why its important to point out the flaws... if its personal opinion and about what you would like then say it and move on its not meant for you if you don't like. If you really think something is wrong and you know its not supposed to be in the game then that cool that's what a real critic should target NOT personal tastes which is pretty much what I have seen like the one with "pixel art" in the thread above this or a page behind... don't like the game gfto and leave a " not for me" post. if you like the game go ahead give what you know about it and give some points on what you enjoyed.

well I don’t see the problem with saying « wtf are these pixel animations for », since they’re only part of the game, and they weren’t here until (sort of? recently, which means a lot of ppl got into the game before it became a thing. If that wasn’t actually a questionable point, for example, ProjectH would have made the beast porn of Paralogue in the same game of vanilla porn Fallen Doll, but he didn’t because he probably thought it wouldn’t make much sense to start adding a very niche type of content in a game that so far had nothing like it.

Imo the reviews section is for constructive criticism, and discussion... mostly for bitching I guess

well I don’t see the problem with saying « wtf are these pixel animations for », since they’re only part of the game, and they weren’t here until (sort of? recently, which means a lot of ppl got into the game before it became a thing. its so simple to look for things to solve half the probs ppl were having and things ppl complain about are usually just preference and personal tastes... yet they call that "criticism" I call that gripe. if the game looks bad in terms of no art or you push a button and it doesn't do what its supposed to THAT is criticism and its CONTRUCTIVE to what is relevant. I also feel you on niches some don't a genre justice like impregnation for Ex. its not as thought out like the game Violated Heroine that system if done right could be very interesting to have in a game that is not just for MC/FMC but npcs. yet others talk shit because they " don't like how it looks to me" excuse never runs out of style lol. I agree nothing looks good in pixel but at least if they tried real hard or something say something other than " pixel is bad" it could be just a thing they can redo or something if everyone doesn't like it. you can complain stuff if its based on constructive criticism but if its complaining about the game that you "only" want and what not the developer want and other people then ok you can complain. for me personally im only playing this game for free and its unique because it has picture and sprite sex scene and the gameplay is above than the others i played in this site...

mmh I disagree, If the game is broken in some form or another and you point it out that is not criticism per se, that is an objective flaw that needs to be solved, no one is gonna argue than the game is better off not working. if the game has several game breaking flaws then you can probably make criticism about the creator and their lack of polish and how it should have been properly tested or there wasn't enough QA time.

and lastly I would wager that it doesn't matter how hard you try you're not gonna make a small pixel sex animations as good an animated drawn piece, likewise unless Siren were to receive severe backlash and lost a ton of patreons, he really doesn't have a reason to redo the pixel scenes as actual scenes, why 'cause he already paid for pixel art. Why would you pay for pixel art to then replace it with actual art, just save the money and go straight into the drawn scenes. Sure he could do it to make us all happy but just from the way he speaks in his updates it doesn't seem like its in his plans to change pixel scenes into actual scenes. in the end that is just my take, I wish Siren would prove me wrong though.

He didn't pay for them.
He uses pixel art instead of drawn scenes because he can't get art done on time/doesn't want to pay for it anymore.

Face it, the pixel art is only included because drawn scenes aren't. They're a band-aid, and that's what people are complaining about.

This isn't actually a good defense, presumably, the developer wants us to become Patreons and that isn't going to happen if they choose to make poor decisions. So arguing that only Patreons should criticize the game isn't actually good for the dev(s).

That said, your suggestion to post about it on his Patreon is actually a good idea. If they allow non-patreons to post I might consider doing it.
