Check the old map you find in the basement of the library/museum. The location of a chest key is marked

We are at 63%. Updates so far are 2 OR 3%. And it's 2 releases per month, not every 2 weeks.

But nothing precludes NLT from releasing with bigger percentage jumps. If I recall correctly NLT alluded to the plot actually being more complete than the percentage indicated in the release number. So my guess is no more than 12-15 releases left.

These saves don't seem to work by just putting them in the correct location.

Yes. this is so. This is too little.
The game not know, you have overwrite a file and show you the old %. You need the overwritten file load and safe. After the save the game know the new % and show this correct.

Looks like you have used a save from somebody who used saveeditonline. No one who has played without any cheats has this problem.
