It's hypothermia. Use the pickaxe in the cave with Claire and Diana so you get the "so cold" conversation. Then go North->North East->East and jump in the river. When you come up the other end you'll "die" and have a new scene with Evie. After that the hair will show up in heaven.

Oh, I know Patreon bans incest so developers just prefer to not make it obvious.
