So I bought the book from the quikimart, but it's not in my inventory. I think I bought the book before taking to Pricia?

That's okay. The guide book doesn't show up in your inventory once you bought it.
Once you have it it just unlocks the jade statue spawning in as treasure. Without the book you can't find the jade statues.
Remember that the jade statue is a rare spawn. Once you have 1 just talk to Pricia and show it to her.

I'm not sure if it's been brought up however, I found out that many of the problems I am experiencing with the game is due to the fact that I'm not supposed to use the money cheat so early on. So, just a heads up for those who want to buy everything early, don't do it.

I'm not sure if I can handle "better than Lust Epidemic"

I'm very excited to play anything this developer puts out in the future. Fan Boi for life.

Now I just need the patience to wait several update cycles between downloads.

How much added content is typical per update for NLT? I'm not even sure how to quantify such a question. Minutes of play? Amount of H-scenes? Typical development time span for a complete game?

It was obvious right after that intro that the game will be really good. High quality renders and animations IMO, very interesting cutscenes too. What makes it extra interesting besides sexy ladies is the story and the gameplay. Yes, the game really is a game, not just click to continue the text.
This is definitely very interesting, not just as an erotic game, and could be even better than Lust epidemic.

Buy the Field guide in the squallmart (second row left side), Once you have it you'll be able to find jade statues in the park.
Keep looking for treasure until you get a jade statue then simply go back to Pricia and show it to her.
If you have 700 or more money no treasure will spawn anymore.

It works out of box with no need to download and install additional application or libraries to run the Linux build. To run the game mark Game.desktop and nw files as executable and start the game through the Game (bash file).

Well, if you don't wont to read dialogues and solve puzzles then the game isn't for you. You better off playing Ren'Py games.

Thats cheap. You can have great dialog and good but short puzzles in Renpy too, without a 50 pages walkthrough and hours of wandering around and messing with a horrible UI.

I dont watch porn for its wonderfull dialog and awesome cinematoghraphy, the same way i dont play porn games for thier deep and complex gameplay mechanics.
