It's basically download the new version, extract it to the current directory where your game is installed, and overwrite anything that needs to be overwritten. The save games are in an entirely different directory, and the progress will remain there. Most of us I believe have been doing that here.

Download the latest version
Extract the files to the directory where the game is installed
Overwrite what needs to be overwritten

Should be good to go.

so frustrating, download on MEGA stopped at 5GB because you can't download more than that, I don't trust other sources...

NOPY is safe. I get my D/L from there BECAUSE of the MEGA cap...

Absolutely agree, never had a problem with NOPY. Just FYI, your MEGA download will finish after a few hours.

have you followed the sequence ? and omitted nothing ?
if that doesn't help, send your last save here.

You have to open the box in the top of the room where everyone is waiting before you turn the last valve.

Every bit as good and every bit as fast as MEGA, I will generally use the NOPY link as my first choice

Yeah I've had problems with all of them in the past, but not NOPY. I guess it depends on region and location

Last KS page you can take only after this sequence. But everyone with this bug didnt take last chest key, or miss KS page in last room under lighthouse.

I would suggest you just download the latest FULL version of the game, a lot easier and you'll avoid errors

The only thing you miss by jumping to the current version is Evie's end up update silliness.
