I know it's a successful game, but I've yet to play Acting Lessons. I downloaded it a few months ago, so I'll get around to it.

yeah, that was kinda my point in a lot of my posts, although in point 6 there isn't really a lie just not the whole truth, and yeah I think we all agree that they are dumb as fuck so the absurd is almost plausible, I had also guessed on the "she is alive" theory and participated on theory crafting here before, just the reason that someone gave "reuniting the Mc and his daughter" if the death staging was for that then I'm done, there is only so much stupidity I can take.
Yeah, you had remembered plot points better than I had. I'm a horny bastard in these games, so it takes a lot for me to ignore a chick unless she blatantly cheated on the mc or something. I still plan on pummeling mam's wrinkled pussy to mush, and if ex-wifey returns at some point, hate fucking the shit out her in front her gay hubby. But as far as who I'd love tenderly in my mini-harem - Milly, Astrid, Kumiko and her sis, and last but not least, my girl Deb. Many disagree with me here, but I like Deb even more after this update and feel she's always loved and tried to look out for the mc.

Like Deb never fucked another man besides the MC, though she's obviously bisexual and pretty much admitted she was fucking every woman available because she couldn't marry the MC and was trying to fill a void or whatever her lame ass excuse was. It's the same weird "logic" TundraLupus talked about a few comments above. A romantic relationship between two (or in some cases more) consenting adults, is still a relationship even if they are both the same sex. There isn't some kind of rule about male-female, female-female or male-male relationships, that dictates which "counts" more than the rest. And I'm saying that as someone who's only interested in heterosexual content in these games.

IMO there would be no reason for the "fake death"...because as soon as she showed back up I'd kill her my damn self.
Out of curiosity, have you tried to play the mc making choices that earn less authority points? My understanding is the developer envisions Deb as faking her dominant side to protect herself from the pain of mc sleeping with other women, even though it turns out he didn't. Underneath, she's really submissive, and so the more authoritative you are with her, the more her softer side emerges. I'm wondering if choices make a difference in this game. If the mc has more willpower points and less authority points, does Deb keep her more dominant personality? I've only done one playthrough where I have a lot of authority points.

they somewhat do, my play style is kinda in the middle of the road since a lot of the "authority" points are linked with being an asshole, that is why I don't have some nice scenes with Jules for example, I have very negative willpower in the game but my authority is high but not that high, it gives you extra scenes/choices, both autorithy and willpower, and it does affect her, the more of an asshole you are the more she pushes back to a point, the middle of the road she is actually very neutral she fights the Mc but also respects him more because he still shows he cares, I didn't play low authority in a while, so I'm not aware of many more changes in that part, overall though I see the change in Deb in the latest updates as her realizing that the secret would come out soon, maybe even planing to spill it helsef, it feels like she is full of guilt and trying to distance herself as a form of self-punishment, so I think this is something that happens in all autorathy levels, but again I'm not 100% sure, I haven't replayed the latestes updates in different paths or had a deep look in the code.
I agree with you that cheating is cheating regardless. However, I also consider other circumstances in these games and the developer has created so many quirky, absurd scenarios, there's not a single LI I will not fuck in this particular story, if my mc can get away with it. My jealousy or anger has not been raised enough. I'm more amused by the story than anything else. Of course, if and when I have to make serious choices, there are certain girls I will pick over others.

Also to be fair the Mc was cheating as well so there is no one in this story that can complain about that, "Oh you were cheating on me? I'm so angry, so what that I've been fucking my sister behind you back since the beginning?" or "Oh your cheating on me with another woman Deb? so what that I'm married?" cheating on this game is just not a point that should be brought up in discussion anymore, it would be only hypocritical and a waste of time.
edit: but yeah just to clarify, it is cheating, it just doesn't matter in-game right now, but this also brought to my attention that the dev did put this double standard there so yeah just to bring to their attention that this type of thing is normally a sign of internalized homophobia, and I really don't feel like it is on purpose because I know people from the LGBT community that do have internalized homophobia and don't notice it, hell I was one of them and I'm sure there is still a little of it here somewhere, but if it is on purpose and a fully conscious decision then I'm out.edit2: to clarify, I mean if the decision was, "I know this says those same sex relationships aren't as valid as the other type but that is what I think" I'm out, but if it was "I know people will whine if I say they had an actual full relationship and not just sex" then I can understand, not that this prevented them from whining.edit3: clarifying even more because this sounded preachy to me, I don't expect the scene to change or back story or anything, just wanted to bring this to attention because some people care about this, and if I were the dev I would want to know this.

I agree. You're preaching to the choir here. If you look at my earlier posts, I indicate the whole family are assholes, with the mc being the biggest asshole. I think I also said that Deb is a more sympathetic character than all of them, including the mc. To me, the only family member who is more appealing than Deb is Milly.

Second she likely didn't feel for Julia anywhere near as she felt for him, so on the loved part its quite possibly also very much true, as for the fucked, well if it was clearly stated man, well again she didn't lie. Also you forgot the fact she had sex with Deb too I think, so you know its not like that was any newer, its sorta hard for him to argue too much on that part anyway considering he was in a 'secret' incestuous affair with his sister, also frankly considering the debate about NTR going around its possible she considered things the same as some do and didn't count any relationship with Deb or Julia to count as cheating.

The thing is their is a certain... relationship sexism that exist with men in particular, you'll find a fair amount of men that have issues with gay men that have no issues with lesbians, many also aren't likely to consider their female partner having sex with another female to be an issue, while obviously its not universal, the fact remain that its still likely a majority.
Which is where the entire debate about NTR that happened in this thread came from, namely that for many it doesn't count, now I personally understand the point of view of both sides, which probably get summed up to 'if I am also attracted to the one my partner had sex with, is it really a problem for them to have had sex together?' now personally I don't mind, but I understand not everyone would think that way.
Also in this case the MC hasn't got a whole lot of space to be judgemental, he was banging his sister in his wife's back, so he sorta sacrificed any moral high ground there, so I might blame Deb & Marie for stuff... but not that because it would be hypocrisy and I hate hypocrisy, so I am willing to ignore it.
