I find it annoying that TextBox does not appear when you play, especially in certain moments when the white text blends with the white background of some images, does anyone have a solution to solve it? I state that in the GUI folder of the game the TextBox.png file is present.

Hrmm Blackthunder_vn went to some effort to try to ensure that wasn't an issue. It's deliberately turned off. Sorry to hear that you still found that annoying. It's commented out in screens.rpy.

The poll kinda overwhelming says that people prefer it off... but we have prototyped a player preference that may make it into the next rev.

I am sorry to report that I am pulling off this project, due to creative differences with Blackthunder_vn and difficulties being able to discuss said differences.

As it stands, this is not a project I can justify contributing to.

I do wish you the best of luck and hope you can make what you want work for you and be successful.

Loved the wonderful characters and did enjoy contributing, hope to see you succeed even as it appears I cannot continue.

Money is on she's the Grand Father's lawyer ( Michael's mother) but it would be funny if she (the lawyer) turned out to be MC's step-grand mother.

-there is an aunt but later in the game (little hint).
-Nope its not the step-grandmother. (If Alexandra where his step-grandmother she would have the money)

If I was a dev, I would simply make a slider in the preferences for the user to choose the transparency of the textbox, similar to all sound and text speed settings. Let users have their preferred experience without making a binary choice according to a poll.

Hello monksims

I have added an option to switch (hide/show).
I have to learn a lot, over time it will be easyer for me to change such things, if I put something in I want to know, how it works and why it works and how to do.

It is hard to describe.

Later on if I'm better with renpy, such things will be an option.

But first I must learn how to do all this nice things.
I started with renpy and daz in february and I still have a lot to learn.

at the moment yes, but with the start of the player choices you can skip scenes and have an other story.
In the future updates there will be an choice if the player would like an relationship. (The Mainchars is an must be for the story but can be skiped. since day4.)

I will improve the player choices and revisit the "old" days in the future. And there will be an auto. recall with autoskip.
The base for this is already set with day4. Day4 has Player choices.
