Now this is a tricky one for me too. Looks like she grew taller, got cleaner and there's no evidence of a futa cock on her. I like the bigger tits tho.

Is Jeanne no longer a shut in, or is this a pre-shut in picture?

The reason I am a bit torn on whether I like the change is because a person I knew who became a shut-in did cut her hair short so she didn't have to maintain it which makes the new design more true-to-life for me, but that's not going to be the case for everyone.

Me too I am a little torn about the new family member designs. I do find find them pretty so that's good, but I don't recognise the characters we got to appreciate until now. They do unfortunately fell out of character with the new design.
But who know, I'll wait to try the new version before any jugement, maybe it'll grow on us? I hope???

The remake characters are charming enough, but it would have been nice to see them appear as new characters instead of existing ones.

the only way they can justify this change is to make her into an "overly shy, clumsy, but smart" type instead of "masturbate+porn adict, depressed, unkept, hiki-neet" if they want to keep the shut-in type, can also still be a gamer, maybe
IMO if she is a overly shy type other family member CAN'T act hostile to her, because that just gonna brand them as a villain right away, so jaiden and jill cant call her disgusting and stuff

but that still mean the old jeanne is basically dead
so either remake her design/her story or make an unkept version (and this version is "Fixed" version of her after 10-20 events)

also i agree, just make her hair longer and messier, use "dead fish" eye, add more gloomy vibe, use less stylish glasses, and reduce the height(she suppoed to be unatlethic afterall) will improve the design

Jill looks fine and so does Jazmin. Jeanne though just doesn't work. She is supposed to be this gross shutin who does nothing but wank all the time. This is actually a lore thing too. I appreciate the dev establishing that futas are always horny and have trouble controlling themselves in society. Many devs wouldn't bother writing even a few lines of world building/lore for their game to explain why the sister is a huge coomer. Anyway, this could be a completely new take on Jeanne, maybe the dev didn't want a gross, stinky, coomer, futa anymore and is trying to go a new direction with her?

Also since we are talking about lore, Jeanne also served in the army (you can see from the military shield she has)
So maybe the reason she looks like this is that they probably whipped her into shape.

When was that mentioned in the lore? She has swords on the wall, but we know she wasn't a knight, or man-at-arms.
Anyone can own a shield.

Not entirely free. They have done work which is evident by their assets. But I guess your point is that anything that you can't pirate for free right now doesn't exist at all.

So it isn't a complete rewrite of the character? To be fair, she looks nothing like a shut-in porn addicted insomniac. Not to mention, she looks like she's tall enough to compete in the WNBA who also takes time off to join book clubs. Her character would make more sense if she were as tall as her old model, as well as having bags under her eyes, but I guess we'll see this new Jeanne when the game comes out, still have high hopes for Jazmin and Jaiden.
