Pretty sure that none of the "teams" as you say are mandatory. If you just like Carol, you can ignore Yuki. She won't disappear, but I don't think we're going to be forced to date her.
It's already been stated that you can't get Yuki without Carol though and I already rejected Carol from the start of the game.

Same. I also like the artist chick, but, can't seem to get anywhere with her. So, I've pretty much settled on the one that works in the pizza place that tried to dominate us, but, we find out she loves to be dominated. So. Those are my main chicks and not sure if any of them are actually main LIs or not.

I can't answer for everyone, but, myself. She's not my type. Don't like her looks or her personality. Plus, the fact that she is, or was a slut at one point. Doesn't make for a good choice in my opinion.

Correct. The update is to convert the Basic version to the Extended version. Usually, the Basic version leaks first.
