What pissed me off enough to post even after discovering it was intended though, wasn't the name, but the tease in renaming her and the "error", the fact you could rename all the others no problem but then that tease. If the option had not been there I would never had posted.

You should try changing other names and not Maeve's and see what happens.

Coding is hard and there are some bugs that are just tenacious. I'm working on a fix.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
