I played Pregcess of Zeven last night. The censorship isnt that bad. It looks worse than it is on the preview pics than it is in game. There must have been patch that fixed much of the desensor?

Saying that.... Its RPGM is a problem because it tries to be a fighting game more than porn early on and it takes 15 hours before the slow corruption gets into sex. I like slow corruption, but the RPGM game play is what slows the game down. Even on the easiest settings that makes combat trivial, you walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk, which is a hallmark of bad RPGM games.

That isn't even bringing up the machine translation... It's pretty rough. I have seen worse translations but its still pretty bad. This is be the deal breaker for most.

I also have an issue with pacing. It's soooooo slow, hit around hour 15 then you get to grouping, then hour 20 you get into sex. Not only that, the pacing in the sex phase is poor. The game designers just want the game to be over and was like, ohhh you are doing sex now so... just have TONS of sex with TONS of men. Losing your virginity is voluntary with a random dude. It's actually a let down. It feels like it has no meaning.

So long story short. You didn't miss much LOL.

I recommend if people want to just see the sex scenes grab the game and looks for a save and then just look at the sex scenes that way.

Only the developer could tell you why it was abandoned, and he pulled a disappearing act, so we'll probably never know.

This is a form of logical fallacy known as a false equivalency. The two things you describe are not the same. They are very different. For someone to pick up this game, and try to carry on from where DRG left off, keeping the existing content intact, and using the same characters and the same storyline up to here would be, at best, plagiarism, and at worst, outright theft of intellectual property.

On the other hand, for someone to make a porn parody of Batgirl or Hermione or Wonder Woman or Lara Croft or whomever-the-fuck-you-please, is not theft in the same sense. It is parody, and there is a very clear legal doctrine in place which allows for parody, but not for theft of intellectual property. See any of the various legal cases which prove the point, if you actually don't understand the difference.

You are incorrect. The exact segment of my post which you quoted, and the segment of boulimanus' post to which I was replying were both concerned with whether or not someone other than DRG taking over this game would be stealing, either in an ethical or legal sense. Both the ethical question and the legal question are relevant to the discussion. You are attempting to oversimplify both his point and mine. You are also attempting to reduce my argument to a single point, which is dishonest, because even the segment of my post which you quoted contained multiple points.

And no, I at no time committed any form of the naturalistic fallacy. The naturalistic fallacy attempts to argue that what is natural is good, simply on the basis that it is natural. So a form of that fallacy would attempt to argue that the way things are is the way they should be. I did not make any such claim. I maintained (correctly), that parody is not the same as plagiarism, and also that it is legally permissible. Those are two separate points. I also argued in the previous paragraph that taking over DRG's work without his consent would be plagiarism, which is unethical, and would also be stealing, in a legal sense. This was also not an example of naturalistic fallacy.
