To avoid going too far off-topic, though, as another developer, I would guess you almost certainly have a better appreciation for how odd this is. Dynamite is the developer of a successful, high-quality game and just suddenly goes dark? It's just unsettling, if nothing else.

It's games like this one that have motivated me to do my own story driven fantasy game. Because lets face it, there aren't many good ones out there in this genre. Which is another reason why its so sad if this project is really abandoned.

I completely agree. As has been mentioned in an earlier post, there aren't many games that handle exhibitionism reasonably well. But additionally, the drive to deal justice Astrid has — plot device or no — actually works very well. This isn't a game that humiliates her just for the sake of it. Well, I mean, it's an adult game, so it kind of does, but it's not something without purpose in the storyline. (For many games, it feels like humiliation is to somehow punish the character for being a woman or a man. Those plots are far less enjoyable to me. Humiliation is fine, provided it makes sense and isn't there just to have it.) This is a very strong game and a great example, as you've said.

Yes the exhibitionism system was awesome, sadly so it seems like it will never get finished. For exhibitionism (humiliation) in general, I find it very important that it is well explained as a part of the story and is not only included, just to have it in the game. When its done right, every step has so much more impact and is way more enjoyable. Especially if you go deeper and transport her thoughts, why is she doing this(?) and what do other people do think of her?! In "Alenja's Adventures" there is/will be a lot of exhibitionism, too. This is something I do work really hard on, to make sure its exciting and also worth the time playing

He hasn't made any post, either a status update or an announcement of any sort, in just over five months. He's rapidly closing in on half a year of no visible activity. I'd call that going dark.

The artwork was a major part of what drew me to this game. The storyline and overall game mechanics kept me waiting. It'd be very sad if something bad happened to the dev. 0_O (not that it wouldn't be sad for any random person..just ..you know)

I'd prefer if someone knowing Dynamite reached out and checked to see if he's OK. Then, when things were better, he could continue his own game. I'm a bit worried about Dynamite.

Dead, disabled, in a coma, converted to a new religion which forbids him from making porn games - the list of possible reasons why this game might be dead for good is a long one, but the more time which passes with no word from DRG, the more likely that one of these explanations is correct.
