What would you like me to add to the game in the next update?

  • The connection (police) mechanic. This would be a new "currency" and a new batch of upgrades.

  • More events and the possiblity for the packmakers to add some in their packs.

  • The possbility to train the skills of the girls

  • Progress the story and add story missions (mostly focused on Nicole)

  • Something else (tell me either by PM or in this thread).

This is a very nice feature, because having to click on the images to find name and other information is a pain, and looking forward to being able to use it.

Personally, the visual lottery wheel you are working on from another post should be a very low priority, but knowing how many and which girls are available for the lottery would be useful.

Finally, I'm curious about the responses to your poll/survey and what priorities you and other modders are working on.
Whenever you see something extra or unnecessary like the wheel, it's because I hit a wall somewhere else and needed to do something to make myself feel better. :HideThePain:

The responses were pretty all over the place, tbh. Lots of people want different things out of the game. I also apparently didn't word my questions too well.

The overwhelming agreed upon things are:
  • More (short) minigames.
  • More shops/characters made for the game like the secretary.
  • Game-set "themed" work nights
The more up-in-the-air things are:
  • More management modes besides the worknight
  • The softcore-only "camgirl" space.
The hugely unpopular ideas:
  • Making the girls skill gain grow slower and restricting skill gain to a trainer.

My priorities right now are reaching parity with Venus' Club current iteration mechanically, just with the upgraded UI and potential benefits from the newer engine version.

Full transparency, though, I live in Florida and work adjacent to healthcare for my day job, and with the pandemic resurging free time is going to be tight. I won't be in any danger, but it will increase my workload.

I really like the game already, and the reason I think is the huge possibilities the modability aspect provides, the amount of girlpacks already would be a big hint.

What I personally don't care about are the secretary and the gangster 'story'. It's not at all inspired to add a long scripted VN interaction to this, where there are uncountable games on this site alone that provide that experience. As a player and a modder i would much rather see an approach of freedom to import my own or other's selection of porn, be able to interact with it like a game, e.g. in the context of a brothel management game and related (one handed) minigames.

Here's my short term wish list

- Ability to add any media (gifs and images) for work scenes, possibly slideshows of images.
- Remove the daily training point, since it is just a chore you have to do every day, and doesn't add any gameplay. (Or make it more interesting)
- Opening up all backgrounds and images used in game for modding.
- More 'work' types and/or the ability to change the naming/content/progress path of these.

long-term

- More Minigames (for tranining, gambling, etc?)
- More metadata for girls (Gender, traits, etc )
- Ability to promote any girl to assistant (Secretary)
- World map
- Modding tools for complete themed overhaul.

A few points of your wish list are already there:
It's possible to change or add scenes. While you cannot do this ingame it is not hard to do it directly in the girl packs as long as supported files are used.
The training of girls in the lounge is a little help to rise their stats, but you do not have to use it. It is very well possible to play without ever using this system.

Well no you don't have to, but it's there and it has nothing to do with managing resources. It would work better if the player has a number of actions he can *choose* to spend action points on, one or the other. Now it's just that if you don't press this particular button every single day, you are losing out. It's bothersome.

I've just come across my first police client in the game, which got me wondering, what are the current final features? Does total income trigger certain features, other than maxing out openness and skills to 100, is there any other goals in the game or is it just open ended at this point? What is Nicole's current max level?

Sadly, Nicole only gets to foreplay level before her unlocks stop. Although there is a lot of video out there so hopefully someone implements the rest of her performances. I can't remember whether she fucks you or you only get a blowjob from the dates.

Police is an unfinished currency, it has no bearing on the game at all.

Once you unlock all the upgrades and policies it's pretty much game over unless you are happy just to recruit new girls and level them. But by then the 'game' elements are gone so your better off just watching redtube or something.

Why are Nicole's videos (those that are unlocked after maxing out her bar outfit) just blank? Can I somehow view them in the game resources?

For those who have already completed the game at least once and want a faster start, here is a save game with $90,000 starting money.

It is easy enough to edit the money with an but this may be of use to some players.

If you'd prefer to use the online tool, save games can be found under C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Tobe\Venus's Club on Windows 10. The location will be unique to the operating system.

If you want to change the save game slot, just change the _8 to whatever save slot you'd prefer (example: _1).

Put videos with sound pliss
I'm guessing you want to use the girlpacks as a porn star actress video archive? Most authors don't cut the audio from the videos but a few do. It really doesn't make much sense to remove the audio from the videos as the audio doesn't add much in terms of added file size.

Using the girlpacks as intended, they don't need to have sound as the audio is muted in Venus's Club by default.

This is the wrong forum to make such a request anyway. There is a forum dedicated to girlpack releases (not here). Most authors do whatever they want so good luck with that. Getting authors to even follow simple instructions from the author (Tobe) when building their girlpacks is an uphill battle most of the time... At least half of the girlpacks I use I've had to manually fix due to authors not following basic instructions.

Hi all,
I gonna share with you some updates regarding a game inspired to Venus Club I started in December last year.

That point in time I realised, despite I liked the game, I wanted something more focused on the management part: consuming most of the time moving girls around slots wasn't really satisfying.
On the other side, I had no experience at all into coding games, thus I started this journey with the main purpose of challenging myself and building something for my use only. It's only reading about Tobe abandoning the project I realised my game might be an answer to people seeking for upgrades.

Obviously, since I started long before Tobe's announcement, I didn't change the language/frameworks used, neither I revised the aim of the project: I was never intended to build a 1:1 replica of VC.
What I did was, instead, trying to accelerate a bit over my code in order to reach a version that was "playable at least", also in order to get feedbacks by you guys and understand if the project is interesting for you.

So here are some key differences between my game (TUSC) and VC:
- it doesn't use Unity, but is web-based (should support several codecs like vp9 and x265)
- no henchwoman or dedicated story
- no minigames (at least right now)
- girl's training and club management consist of 2 different flows
- every day 12-20 you can train hire and train girls (every action consume time), manage supplies, upgrades etc
- from 20 to 24-2-4 depending on club level you have the working turn for girls (time auto-advance by 1 min every 1 sec)
- girls will be rotated automatically everywhere
- at the moment performances are split between main stage and vip slots
- the same pool of girls performing actions will also do barmaids, etc
- you don't pay a fixed amount for a girl, instead you pay salaries (every day)
- you need to build rooms to host girls

The main purpose of the game is the same: make as much more money you can.

Considering this is a "developer version", please mind that:
- it can be VERY UNSTABLE
- probably the economic system needs corrections
- several features I planned at the beginning are not there (yet?)

The versions posted it doesn't contain any girlpack, you can feed the relevant folder with the ones you use in VC.

Thank you! I may have figured it out. I tracked down the file orjson.cp39-win_amd64.pyd and copied it into \tusc-0.1.0.dev0\resources\srv\lib and \tusc-0.1.0.dev0\resources\srv\lib\emmett and the game launches now. Trying the game out now.

TUSC does launch after that mod, but I did run into another problem. 15 minutes into day 1, something crashes and the timer stops. You can click around but there's nothing going on onstage and you can't close the club or exit without using task manager. The process count drops to 7 (I think it's 8 initially) so it seems related.

This is a nice start so I hope I'm not coming off as critical.

atmosphere1980 you were partially right about the issue, but the edit probably causes errors on processing.

I made some updates to the code, this build should fix the windows issue (at least I can run it on a virtual machine). This also includes some fixes to the night processing phase.




Let me know if you still have issues.

Yes, it runs much better now. Gameplay is pretty good. I did get the game to crash around day 4 doing training. But the overall game is working, with performances, revenue, and different roles. It definitely shows promise.
