I think the "mocap isn't all about sex" is part of the thing people miss. There are many plugins to make actual sex scenes work better. The best scenes in my mind are the ones with some kind of actual story. Not just a couple minutes at most of repeating banging.
Natural motions are important. If you have a scene where a character can walk into a room, talk to you, pick up and move objects, sit on a sofa etc you feel far more connected to events.
That's the point that things like VR become really awesome because you are not "watching porn" anymore, you are living an experience.
I am very excited for all the work being done by content creators, not just the mocap stuff but the scripting work. I some of the best plugins are things like E-Motion, Balance etc that bring "life" to the static models.
Just think about the possibilities if some of those plugins get to become reactive to user input.
There are PC apps that do voice recognition. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a character listen to you and react to what you say?
None of this will happen if everybody fights and pisses off creators who leave.
We won't get good scenes or investment if we piss off the people spending their own money on gear to create.
Can we all try to be civil and please not judge?

And I try to create part of that experience. At first these were lifeless dolls. Then came Timbo and myself followed by others. We brought the models to life. People like the awsome ''AcidBubbles'' built plugins like ''Glance'' and upped the realism. We can never stop innovating. No matter the resistance we encounter. It is a matter of time until we have a semi or fully interactive model that will move about the room. That is what I am aiming for. That's the whole reason of this project. OK understand, your answer explains all my possible future questions. It is a "gimme" all I need ,and I will f*ck you then. Fair and expensive plans should not discourage others. The authors of good ideas usually carries the associated risks. I see this isn't your cup of tea. You are trying to risk nothing and have it all. Sorry, I will not be helpful.
Yeah the best scenes are a complete package. Not just a mocap or manually created dance in a black, empty, silent scene. Sapuzex used to do this very well. Space Force is another example of a whole story, environments, dialog, etc that made an actual experience even if it didn't have many animations, it was much more compelling than any of the mocaps scenes we see now. Most scenes now feel more like tiktoks than an episode of a good TV show. So many mocaps are translated, maybe cleaned up a tiny bit and some royalty free tune just slapped in it so it isn't dead silent if we're lucky, and an autobehavior selected so its only partially a robot mannequin.
We're lucky to get the same canned moaning MP3 we've heard 100 times before in a scene, or one piece of furniture. It's almost all garbage, nothing has any real character to it.

I agree. Most of it is garbage so is some of my stuff. You can't really blame us. We are only as good as the tools allow us to be. If you would do any actual mocap work using the vive system you will understand the pain and the often yeeting of things across the room. My patreons actually commend me for not bloating up the scenes. I create mocaps so people can build their own scenes. That is the fun part of VAM. The actual building part. I regularly receive comments about that.
And I agree about the moaning mp3. Sadly there is not much content that we can use. Also we can't use any copyright music. I am creating content for power users , people that know what the hell they are doing in VAM and it works great for me. Adding crapp in the scene will burn down a lot of computers. To be able to enjoy the mocap you need framerates. Once you add stuff framerates go down and people are not happy.
I agree with the tiktok part sadly it's the best we can do right now. We need a better system in order to build those stores you talk about. ''But noooo Reign you greaddy peace of sh.t You want it all for youself'' No I don't. I just want to make cool stuff.

Yeah that's how pre-ordering and crowd funding works. Gimme now and I'll give you later when I do it. I don't see what's wrong with that? You want me to produce it out of thin air? Also when I built my patreon I took the risk myself. It paid off.

I think you should be great full that some creators do what they do, and if they ask money for there thing you have a choice whether you want it or choose not too buy.
That said, I don’t get the free but you have to use my name mentality, it’s either free or not and as long as you say thanks too all creators for there free stuff i don’t see the problem you said thanks. And if you think of it every one who want the item will look for the creators name and it’s just good and free exposure…….that would be a win for the creator. And you keep it on the Hub where more and more ppl will see and use the items, now it all comes from downloads and illegal sites……witch is a loss for those creators.
(fun fact: in my case the creator made only one item and complaint that I din’t credit him, while 34 looks got deleted ….just too boost his ego).

I don't know what system this is, but I think this is "live" mocap, not cleaned. It's smoothed realtime by AI from what I can gather.
If I ever find a driver for the Kinect that works I will try full body in VaM VR again.

On a serious note, try this plugin. Used to be on the VAM Directory, but don't think it ever moved across to the Hub. Try setting the penis value to about 0.8. The checkboxes during an penetration animation lets go a lot deeper and you can trigger them with timeline as an when needed.
Even tought this is way too much muscle for my style, it is creative and I really want to thank you for sharing your own content, which I suppose cannot be found on the hub.
I also invite anyone here to share their personal creations. Honestly, there are some very cool things that will never be on the hub because it's a bit too hot or because copyright infringements would be too obvious, like making a better look based on a paid look, for example. But this the place for piracy, so don't be shy and share your creations.
WIP is fine too. Anyway, when we create we often fall in the trap of seeing flaws that nobody see because we're too perfectionist, but your WIP could end up being someone else masterpiece. So don't be shy and share your stuff.
