Now, yes, sure, nothing's set in stone, there's not any actual date just an ETA, the update may get delayed again, who the hell actually knows, but you should at least inform yourself a little bit from where people are getting their estimations

Love how this developer is earning a MINIMUM of 3000 dollars a month off of his patreon (if every single patron were of the lowest tier which I doubt; I'd assume 3 and 7 dollar tier is by far the most common) - yet has now fallen into the lazy 2 or 3 updates a year bullshit.
Summertime saga died for me when it started this 4-6 month update shit and now this game is starting to do it too... Summertime saga is earning DC over 40k a month too...

The only game I've seen where I could perhaps excuse a long as fuck update time for is Changeling Tale; simply put because its quality is literally on par with an actual studio made game; if it had voice acting and more refinement (which they're adding as they get more money for the development as it's a team of 4 or 5?) it'd definitely be top tier.

I honestly wish I knew how to code; I'm good at story writing but not coding, nor drawing. I'd happily get a fuck ton of story shit done and if it doesn't require coding I'd do the 3d models for the game too, I'd just need a coder to implement it and I would definitely get this games updates out much faster.

If anything I wish I could write for some of these top earners for a reasonable cut; I'd make everything top notch, allow them to have a lot of the creative freedom but get rid of all this broken English and incoherent story telling.


Oh well, I really enjoy this game series; I supported it at bottom tier for 3 months and no mention of why the update was actually late; so I'll just sit back and wait for an actual patch.

Seriously go learn to code a game. Render 300 images of this quality. Write a script. Come back after that and talk about how long things are taking. Here is a thought. Get off this forum and go outside. If you need somewhere to go search "parks near me" on google maps on your phone and spend a day in nature. every damn time near update, this always happen, dev should not let ETA or any progress at all so people just come when they see the update instead rant about it delayed and delayed again, as for me I enjoy the update but never hope on it too much, I just checked this thread weekly and that's about it, why not u guys just like.... do the same..... support the dev at least by not critize them when u cant or don't want to put a single cent for them at all by either not having monies or stingy little bastard and just want to get it for free

it is a good valid point. 5 month is a long time. since you actually spend money on the dev Patreon, i would be frustrated too. Premium membership on P Hub, perhaps?

We saw how "tell them what you think" didn't work, and maybe, just maaayybeee, they learn by doing the same stuff he does, that it actually involves a lot of work.

Also, look at the outcomes. Either we have people understand a lot more, or get more porn games. I think my advice is solid

When the game is successful the same story repeats itself time and time again. Why people still act surprised when the author MIA for months? The guy is loaded. He makes 5-10$k per month and in his country that could be an enormous amount of money. So much so that he could buy himself a live-in girl, or even multiple. He could party every day. He could travel wherever. Unless you're extremely dedicated and smart with your planning(and 95% of people are not) its only natural that hes unable to work on something this silly, especially when horny bastards are paying even without him working.

I'll gladly refund that 'pseudo' Patreon of mine if he's so unhappy. Surprisingly none of my supporter are that 'vigorous' on the Waifu Academy Discord... Sure many of them are impatient and they have the right to be so, since it will be 4 month of wait upon 16 August.
But they understand the time invested and dedication to create unique and well written content for each update.
Also there is no 'scam' or whatever story some people build up. I'm continusly sharing number of preview and side story hint about the incoming update. I'm working on 2 update at the same time and had to brainstorm about pacing to be sure everything is coherent story wise since we are close to important reveal.

Just calm down, I can understand people frustration but you don't have to be harsh or lie about devs.

I 100% agree with you i love the game it may take time for updates but you are working on 2 games at same time what some forget not long ago you where working on 3 at same time takes time to make a good quality game and your is vary good. I know the update will be ready when its ready cus i never got any bugs you test and retest so in closing please take your time I know update will be great.
