okay, so at first, i hated the game, the writing was a serious-edgy cringefest that made absolutely no-sense
and then i guess some self-aware memelord with a room-temperature IQ decided he was gonna write the rest of the dialogues and story

and i'm absolutely on-board with this shit
the writing became somehow even worse than it already was at first,
but it became worse in a "the joke is so bad it's good" way
it's a hell full of really bad dead-memes, horrendous outdated-references, shitposting
And meta-jokes that makes absolutely no-senses
It also seem like the very-word "context" is just a vague and ambiguous concept to the writer

it's gloriously bad, and the game knows it, or at least it acknowledgeit at some point
the only thing that i can really complain about is the start of the game
it start as bad, but not in a fun-bad way, in fact the beginning of the game is really edgy and cringy
but just get to the point when the game won't even give a shit anymore, then it will get much-much better/worse

the worst writing i've ever seen in a porn-game, very entertaining, 10/10 would recommend

Some day, maybe...possibly. It was supposed to be November of last year, then Christmas, then February, now it's at least mid march.

Or Solvalley Highschool. Don't get me wrong I love that game. The writing/dialogues/scenes are so damn retarded that it was hilariously funny which makes it very interesting in a way.

Corruption on the other hand is a mess of random scenes at least for me, but hey, it makes up for the lewdness.

Matter of personal preference I'd say. Tbh, I thought about this too, of course a lot of us do enjoy the memes and the jokes but on the other hand some people may dislike the jokes that's all over the place.

There are funny, serious/mystery, and of course lewd scenes makes it a variety. I'd say the dev keep the game as it is. I, for one love it this way. It is not a full-novel level but it's way better than most porn games I had play to say the least.

Guess, it's just not your cup of tea but I do hope you change your opinion on it in the future.

well it depend, if they're used seriously and well, it help making the universe a bit more relatable to the player
like when Stein;Gate (the VN) use "John-Titor" as a major-character in it's story,
or when the characters use 2chan memes and internet-slang to communicate with each-others
it helps to make the universe of the story a bit more real since you share thoses references

but if you use it as just some sort of throwaway meta-jokes only the player/reader/spectator will get
it does the exact opposite, distancing you from the story and making the universe seem even more fictitious
remember the "like-a-boss" wendy's ad? i still do, and i still have nightmares about it


here, in the context of this game, the writing use references in the worst-way possible
but i find it entertaining here, because the writing dosn't even give a fuck about if you think it's good/efficient or not
it's like a 12 MLG-kid trying to be ironically funny, it's cringy, awfull, annoying, and not nearly clever as it think it is
but you can't help but laugh at it because of how absurde it is

listen to me kiddo, if the writer want to make a ricegum joke, a youtuber-joke in the middle of softporn scene in a porngame

i've just read the tags, and immediately read "redneck, The Big I , Biggus Dickus", this is promising
might fuck-around and play this game, hope it's at least as bad as "waifu academy"

Let's be honest, this feels like a Cyberpunk 2077 situation to me. A lot of people are telling Irphaeus to take his time so everyone can get a more polished and better game with awesome gameplay/plot/story etc etc. Just like CD Projekt Red, tons of people are on twitter telling them to take their time to develop Cyberpunk 2077 because everyone rather have a better and more polished game later than a rushed and buggy game sooner. And again people trust CD Projekt Red because of their previous game Witcher 3, which was amazing af and in a sense Irphaeus has gave us some really good content in the last 2 years so I can see why quite a lot of people giving their trust to Irphaeus (I, myself included).

But I just got 1 tiny problem because Subverse is more or less coming soon maybe this year (I hope) and I can see Subverse being a godly sex/porn game and maybe even hype and change the gaming industry. So I'll be honest, I always check if there is a new update on WA everyday at least once because I just freaking love this game so much (I have replayed patch 0.7.1a twice now) and damn are the characters hot af but I can see myself dropping this game once Subverse is released. Then maybe I will come back to WA after I complete whatever I can on Subverse.

So I don't know if Irphaeus is milking his patrons for more money or being lazy about this, honestly I don't think anyone has any definite answer about whether Irphaeus really has a lot on his plate and he is working all that he can on this game or he is just milking the patrons. I just really hope that Irphaeus is more like CD Projekt Red, which always puts the game and their fans first. And not like Electronic Arts which just milks the fuck out of their gamers and do whatever lazy ass writing and craps on their fans. Cheers

it's not like the game has much of anything except for the shit-writing
the models are subparts, they're clearly made from some illusion-game, probably Honey-Select if i had to take a guess
so you're clearly not playing it for the visuals or only the sex-scenes,
or you'd play Honey-Select since it has no writing to keep you from reaching the sex-scenes, and you can make your own characters

can't be for the visuals, again, it's generics illusion-tier 3D-models
can't only be for the sex-scenes,or you'd straight-up play Honey-Select
so it would mean you play for the writing, and if it's not for the sheer level of shitposting and cringe
i fail how you could find anything interesting in the game
