Finished 0.6.4a & Great job so far! Is this as far it goes for android currently ? Asking bc I've noticed sometimes certian members will port higher versions to android, tho idk if that depends on permission or whatever. Also do the android versions always stay about this far behind or does it vary? Excited for the next droid update!!

Actually, it's hard to disagree with the guy about visuals. Models are fine if you take them as specific art style and you have a story behind them. But on absolute scale, not that much. If you just found them as individual unrelated images, with no story or anything, you'd hardly have wet dreams about them. It's not wrong to acknowledge it. But it doesn't mean they are bad, or that some ultra-realistic models would make the game better, I don't think so. They go well with the story, which isn't exactly realistic either.

We actually do have them has individual, unrelated images. They're called Wallpapers. They're given out as patreon rewards. And looking at the amount of likes they attract every time they are posted in here, i'd say people do quite like them.

To be fair, i don't disagree that they aren't the greatest images we've ever seen in the history of porn. But they're still good.

That's not it, you already know and like characters from the game, so those are not just random images as I meant. I like them now, some of them very much, but it's mainly the story and some of my added imagination that did it. Before I started the game, it was not love at first sight.

no, i genuinely think the game is so bad it's good
the writing tried to be really edgy in a serious way at first, then at some point it spiraled into a cringefest of memes and outdated references
and yes my point on the models stand

which i think is absolutely right and objective as i know my shit really-well

Most people here have gotten used to really bad writing that this game is actually relatively good. A lot of games are from authors trying to write in English when it's not their native language, or have bad translators. At least this game is pretty coherent and I can easily understand what he's trying to say. I agree with you that Irpheus' writing does get a bit cringey at times, but that depends on what the particular reader considers as good humor.

Most of these developers aren't professional writers, they're just in it for the money. Once in a while you get a developer that makes a game because it's his/her passion, and those tend to be the better games. But even those won't be professional level writing. I've learned not to expect too much from games like these so I'm never really disappointed.

I feel the need to point out that one of the defining characteristics of professionalism is taking a salary, so uh, "they're not professional, they're just in it for the money" is rather oxymoronic

Yeah I could have worded that better. I just got off from night shift so the brain's a little foggy.

I meant that they got into this business because they probably saw how much money some people were making and decided to jump in with no training whatsoever. Heck, I'm thinking about doing it myself, but right now I decided to at least learn Python so I would be able to do a decent job at it.
