I was a patron for a good year..and i can't say i had any relevant information, back then at some point i went to discord to ask and..it wasn't helpful either, people gleefully answered me "when it's done, or year 2044" basically they were joking around at your expense if you asked any ETA. Unless you're in his inner circle i doubt you have any real info if they have any, at least that's what i experienced, might be just me.
Only if someone earns more than 75k euro a year. If he doesn't have any other income, the efective tax rate is probably around 20% or lower

all i know is that the last 7 people i have paid patreon money to, EVERY SINGLE ONE, including Irph, Icst, DrPink, ALL OF THEM, started out hot and heavy with great material; weekly updates, bi-monthly releases, and eventually hit nothing-ever-done-at-all-mode
this usually comes after hitting massive subs/monthly payments, and "some personal crisis"; it's the same for all of them, - - milk milk milk, lie lie lie, get caught in lie, lie some more, "finally give up, fuck all of you for not being on my side" - - in Icst case, he usually abandons his game and starts a new one, DrPink has such great quality no one gives a fuck, and as for Irph, he was just in that perfect niche when he started; others I don't even care to mention, no free publicity for those train wrecks
all in all, i'm not surprised, and while i'm disappointed, at this point i'd rather the game never get another update and this dude just lose his entire livelihood (benefited specifically from this VN) as it crashes and burns just as much as our support he never deserved - - it doesn't matter if it's "Just porn", at some point the integrity of a creator must count for something, regardless of what they do
i'm aware this is a "pirate site", i'm also aware some of these creators wouldn't have anything without this "free show"; but what i'm most positive about, is some of these creators deserve even worse; honestly, ever here those stories about European artists having their greatest works burned and destroyed so that even after their death they couldn't be famous, simply because they fucked over their commissions? it's not a new concept at all

Patreon takes about 20% of the amount you paid and this money is not listed on the developer's page.
For example: you become the new patron for $ 5, on the developer's page only $ 4 is added to the amount.

To be honest, peeps need to pull their money from devs that aren't performing, it's not about milking it's about dumbasses that pledge and let it ride. If Patreon was a fair company all creator accounts would be set to payout per release rather than monthly making them have to do something for their money rather that crapping out a wallpaper every month or two so that you know that they are still alive... So many artists go on about mental illness and personal loss, yet I have experienced all those things too, but I still have to go to work to earn a paycheque in order to pledge them... I'm over bashing devs, it's not their problem, it's our's cause literally, money talks, bullshit walks!
And they would release 5 minute monthly updates to keep the patreonbuck flowing into their accounts

A) your girlfriend/wife just left you because of "insert reason" and you don't feel like working on your project, they are gonna unsub for a while
B) your hard-drive and backups (dog ate my homework much?) crashed and you have to restart a bunch of shit, they are gonna unsub for a while
C) your passion ran out and you just aren't "into it" anymore, they are gonna unsub for a while
B) payment options via Patreon/Paypal/W.E. aren't being favorable and you need to figure out your financial situation first, people gonna unsub for a while
point being, it MEANS MORE to them as a creator to con-man/woman or deceive/lie to their support base and get THE MONEY rather than be honest and justifyably not make as much income due to their own issues - - DrPink had some personal issues and had delays, that's fine but he fucking lied about it, Icst always loses interest in his projects, but he pretends he's into it and milk milk milks, some devs like Irph just don't say anything at all, that's the worst, then you got WVM and deaths in the family apparently affecting in-game content, bc incest is only a cool thing if the family member you want to fuck hasn't died outside of your fantasy (get a grip honestly), i'm just saying
