Any hard numbers to back this up? Apart from the few ones here declaring so, there's just no way for you to know how many patreons he has actually lost and got replaced, again just assumptions.

There's no definite truth about his patreons since only him has the real stats. But we can get an idea of it by checking the patreon stats. In the last year most porn games have seen a surge in popularity and number of patreons. FOr the sake of comparison I'll post some stats from other Honey Select devs

All the other game devs got at least 50% in the number of patreons (The Headmaster being an outlier), while Irphaeus only got a 25% boost. It's likely that the number of patreons didn't increase that much because it got countered by the number of people that stopped supporting him.

Another interesting data I got is that most of them that revealed their earnings showed at least 9k-10k around the 1200 patreon mark, so it's safe to assume he's pocketing 10k a month

Do WE know? Have you talked to him? Or made a proper investigation? As much as you want to believe them, these are just especulations with no solid proof behind them other than the gut feeling of the one writing them.
And I don't know about you, but to me laziness is a sing of incompetence.

Agreed, we can't look into Irphaeus' head and determine why he's behaving so terrible. This is why speculating about his motives is pointless, ultimately all that matters is that his development sucks and absolutely no one should give him money until it improves.

Just for your reference of the 170% work done example of my work here,
As I am doing an action game project myself,
A flappy bird clone.
So, a 100% game would be a working prototype/clone of the flappy bird.
But due to the lack of confidence, comparing all those great games in store,
I tried to add in more and more stuffs,
Making it into a flappy-RAIDEN ...
Then adding in more stuffs made the thing get more confused and havoc...

thats why I understand him (if his words are true) as a developer
But disapprove him as a user

The problem is that the update has been delayed repeatedly over an absurdly long period of time. When you're as behind as Irphaeus is the productive thing to do is to just finish what you have planned. Not add more stuff, or more accurately claim to add more stuff.

It's either nonsense to justify a further delay or it's an egregious lack of discipline on his part. Neither of which are especially commendable.

If you don't mind eight months of nothing that's your business, but that doesn't mean those of us who do are unreasonable.

This is his biggest problem, he keeps on adding stuff that wasn't meant to be in the original update and that may make the update bigger, but it slows it down a lot.

I posted earlier that he should release an update that contains the first day, and then the next update can be the 2nd day. Still the same amount of content, but the players don't have to wait as long to get something.
