ch13_bathhouse_6b.webm is part of the ELITE release. Somehow you got `elite_version=True` turned on but you don't have the assets. Make sure game/elite.rpy has the variable set to False and you shouldn't see that error. If you want the ELITE version assets, they are on patreon or steam.

TLDR is I was following the old development best practice of "don't check in compiled/generated code into source control". Since rpyc's are compiled, I never checked them in and thus they were generated by the build system during release. Apparently renpy needs rpyc files to be pretty consistent for old saves to work. It's still unclear to me why they are being compiled so differently that they break saves.

Try the compressed version which uses VP9 encoding instead of AV1. Should be easier on the hardware.

I read through this thread and saw your post that content could become different between the Steam version and free version you provide here. I didn't see any reference to the added NTR content in this thread (the closest I saw was discussion about a different scene from an earlier version of the game) so I'm left wondering if this content is Steam-exclusive, if the tags on this thread weren't updated yet, and/or you've changed your mind in the ~1 year since then?

Thank you for the wishlist and purchase! NTR was a requested feature by some supporters. It's only in the steam/patreon version and has to be explicitly enabled or the user will never see the option.

Sadly, when you try and ask these people this, they all become quiet or try to avoid the question because they know they can't answer honestly. It would make them look like complete snowflakes if they told the truth. The truth being, that they are so sensitive an fragile to being cheated on(probably because they got cheated on IRL, poor saps), they can't handle even the existence of content where an LI fucks someone else, no matter how optional and avoidable it is.

And the most amusing part of it all, is that its usually those guys with a chad profile pic or some other "alpha bro" signature. Its all a front for their incredibly sensitive ego they have to disguise by showing how macho and alpha they are. They look down on ntr and other fetishes and call them "beta cucks" when they are the most insecure, fragile people you could probably ever meet.

Gallery Notes: Gallery is not comprehensive. It contains select clips from each scene and variations from the different game paths. It should be a good indicator that you've found all the content if you want to try all game paths.

The game dev in this thread has made the case that in terms of speeding up development, they never made games faster. Juggling multi game releases, and outputting them faster than games with dev teams behind them. Quality wise, the art is good enough that consumers won't really complain about it, and as the tech improves so will quality. Is it the future for all games? Maybe far off because some artist simply like to create their own, instead of prompt engineering. Hybrid approaches are likely to be the next stepping stone. (creating original art once, having AI extrapolate it. this is already going on in some form, with image extension and training your own models)

It being good? That depends on if you mean is it healthy for this pornographic niche we find ourselves in, or if the art is good enough. The former is very much open for debate, and not just in our niche, but in world economic impact. But history has proven that productivity usually wins out in the end, regardless of pushback.

The standard Steam, Patreon and F95 versions have NO NTR!!! The dev had patrons that specifically requested and paid to have NTR so dev made a special patch so they could have it. If you do not have the NTR patch, there is NO NTR!
