The title make is sound like it's gonna be about pedophilia.
That was just a joke, by the way. Don't get triggered.

I am referring to the reviewer that said:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Perhaps he was wrong in his assumption.
Ah, I could see how that was interpreted that way. But indeed, it is wrong. Physical Abuse is probably closer, though still very much non-sexual. And it wasn't exactly toward the female protagonist herself. Which is why I'm rewriting and polishing up some of the earlier issues and/or inconsistencies.

I am one of those guys that actually enjoy a good lesbian route, i come from rpg and mmo and i found out a long time ago that it was fun too a certain degree roleplaying a female character, but for this reason i tend too stay away from slut simulators. logan can have his harem :p i just want a good lesbian romance for the fp.
Irregardless of the lesbian route(s), this is far from a slut simulator. The female protagonist won't be able to fuck more than one guy on a single playthrough. Logan/Male protag, if the harem is selected, can (and likely will) get his dick wet with anything that moves. For the female protagonist, there'll be a few optional flings. But there'll come a choice where female MC has to choose someone.

the game crashed after Vee tels about the preganancy test
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
IOError: Couldn't find file 'music/r3audio/missemeli_generalvibe.mp3.mp3'.
You should be able to get passed it fine as it's just a song being mislabeled in the code. Shouldn't affect anything else. Thanks for letting me know, though. Let me know if it doesn't work, I'll upload a fixed version.

MissFortune "you can play director and keep Logan/Rainn together throughout and avoid having Rainn anything to do with any other male romantically"

Can we play a monogamous route solely between both MC's Logan & Rainn? I noticed you said other males but didn't mention if lesbian interactions could get in the way of a monogamous relationship? Thanks for any reply.
Almost everything is optional. From the female MC being asked out to all current sexual situations, relationships will be as well. Looking at the way I wrote Vee in might make it sort of tricky if you tell her to keep the kid. But should be easy enough to write around. A monogamous relationship was already in the plans, though.

Is male protaganist avoidable?
You can skip through it. Might make the story a bit hard to follow, though?

so i keep having charactors talk about thing that didnt happen in my playthrough i have patch and walkthrough installed is this suposed to happen or is something wrong?
The walkthrough from scrappy? If I'm not mistaken the one currently linked is for 0.2, meaning it still has the bug (or error on my part, rather.) that was making characters/dialogue talk as if something happened when you said no to a certain choice. 0.3 has this fixed, as far as I'm aware. I didn't run into it, and nobody's told me about it as of yet if it's there.

If I remember correctly, Reagan (female) fucks the female mc. So I think there is no purely male mc and female mc route.
The Reagan route is optional and is going to likely be removed in the next update or two. It's quite contrived, for the most part, and not especially realistic from most perspectives. The park scene will likely still be there, but fairly heavily rewritten. With no sex.

I really enjoy the story. The graphics are done well. Improvement could be in using transitions. I do not mind bouncing from person to person. But it is best to use establishing shots, cut scenes, and other tools to clue the viewer into what and with whom.

If I had to complain, it would be that the women have more testosterone than the males. Not to mention the males are prettier!? I get it. The developer is really into piercings, tattoos, gauging, and sexual domination. You have to do what you love. But the extreme here has a danger of losing an audience that isn't.

I enjoy the story and can tolerate some extremity in the characters. But when ALL the characters are extreme, the story gets lost.

P.S. Dick move with the Rick Astley! "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down." :ROFLMAO:
There's a lot of fair criticism here, honestly.

Transition's are a tricky one for me. Because I don't want to do a lot of hand-holding for the viewer or make it feel like I'm spelling it out for a grade-schooler, and while you're right about just tossing the viewer head-first into a new scene with no context is quite jarring, I find it difficult to strike a balance and end up leaning back toward the latter as I expect the viewer to pick up rather quickly as the context is usually obvious in and of itself. Short of scenes (flashbacks, etc.) where I purposely throw viewers blindly into something.

I try to throw in clues and undertones where I can. Sometimes they don't come right away or aren't completely obvious (and I understand that the waiting between updates makes this hard from a memory perspective.), but they're meant to not drop in anyone blind, as to tell what the next step for said character is. Luca calling hacker (Melissa) > hacker tells Luca that April is there > Luca on plane looking at an old picture of them > Goes to their home > Dinner with April. > Briton. I do realize this probably isn't the best way of going about it within what is essentially an episodic-esque format with months in between each new 'episode', so to speak. Just have to add it to the list of many things I can still improve on.

As for the women, at it's root, I feel that's more rooted in the women I've been around. It's not so much in the testosterone, but in that they have strong personalities. They're rough, grating, come on way to strong, hit like Holyfield, but they're there. Might be a little much, but I'd honestly have a hard time writing the shy, nerdy girl-esque character as I've just never really been around it. It'd feel surface, at best, if I tried. There should be more diversity in character design, and in hindsight, I might've gone a little ham on the piercings/tattoos/etc. But it is what it is now. And nothing's wrong with pretty guys. -__-

Rick Astley is love, Rick Astley is life. <3 (insert meme about being traumatized by rick rolling here.)

No Discord?..

Hi, nice renders. Be free to come up to my small discord server .

You may post your game materials in 'other games' channel or discussing renders.
Not yet, been trying to find time to sit down and finish setting it up. But just get distract with rendering or writing/coding when I finally do lol. Will check out your discord, though!

Somehow this has never popped up on my radar before, looks interesting, so I'll bite, but could someone please explain "operate through the weeds" to me? Is it a bad Google Translate result (Lord knows, we've had a fair few of those over the years :p)? Or is it just a regional phrase or colloquialism I'm unfamiliar with?
It's used in this context as to say "Can [protagonists] operate through the pitfalls of music, the shit people trying to tear them down, and the greed of those putting their music out to the public?"

I'm happy to say that I've never used google translate for writing (and certainly hope I don't need it.) outside of making the TTS say perverted shit in a quiet classroom.

It could very well be the fact that it has multiple protagonists. The game switches alot between the two characters and most people(myself included) just want a flowing story that focuses on one MC. I for one skip all of the FMC's scenes as I'm not a fan of Multiple protagonist nor female protagonists but the game is really good and so is the quality. Tho skipping scenes you're not interested in doesn't really work when those scenes are pretty much half if not more than half of the games content so I guess it's not worth playing if that's the case. I still like the game tho, i just hope it doesn't get abandoned because of lack of support.
I won't call it a criticism as it's really not one, but it's fair to not like it if it's not to their tastes. In the end, I'm not writing it for them. I'm writing it for me, first and foremost, and sharing it for those who might be interested. If that results in a lack of support, so be it. I never did this expecting to make a living out of it (otherwise I wouldn't be $200,000+ USD in student debt. Three cheers for a broken educational system.), but for enjoyment/as a hobby.

I don't really have any intention of abandoning it due to lack of support. If anything causes it to be abandoned, it'll be a hardware issue or time limitations. Though, for the latter, I can work around that.

I think two important parts are that (1) correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first game for MissFortune and (2) people will assume that the multiple protags will make the story too confusing to follow, or won't be their cup of tea, so it isn't worth even trying so they never get to the point of understanding how talented MissFortune might be. With time, those concerns might dissipate to an extent and more people will try the game, but it might take a while to really start getting the credit and support MissFortune deserves. Also, with the game toching on some darker emotional elements, that might also be keeping some people away (even though if done correctly can be included in a good game).
This is my first project with Daz, yeah. First was Twine project, there was a number of reasons that I dropped it. Biggest one being burnout (and a bit of disliking the amount of text vs the restriction I had in creativity using real-porn.), Patreon coming down on real-porn was the dagger. But as I said above, I'm doing this for myself and sharing with others who might enjoy. As a hobby. If I could make a living out of doing this? Awesome, but I'm certainly not expecting it. If people enjoy and want to support, then awesome, as it'll likely be going back into Daz (or toward taking me out of the red with it lol.). If not, there's many other games catering to many other tastes. :)

I would normally try this game out just based on the pictures and the amount of comments about how high quality of a production it is. But I can't stand multiple protagonist games. Their stories are always jumbled and you never get enough time with one character or the other to get really attached to either them or their story.

With that in mind, I won't even tempt myself with trying it here. It's an easy pass for me. If the dev decides to make a single protagonist game, let me know. I would definitely be interested in trying or even being a patron.
I respect it and see where you're coming from, not gonna try to convince you otherwise either. :)

this game had a lot of cameos and references to other VNs
Figured it was better than making random renders or grabbing something from Pexels/Pixabay/Unsplash and I'm sure said devs wouldn't mind, either. Though, I'd happily remove it if they wanted me to.

The title make is sound like it's gonna be about pedophilia.

You're not the first to make the correlation. Or the second. You might be the third or fourth, though. It's not really anything to get triggered by, though?

Someone pointed it out earlier in the thread. It's a play on a young band suddenly being forced into world of adults, greed, self-destruction, and having to grow up a mile a minute within it. It's also the title of an Emmure song. Which inspired the quote at the top of the overview.

what the hell is trans encouragement? Suicide encouragement? Can you also discourage them from doing drastic mental shit like that?
Encouraging someone on the fence/thinking about their gender into transitioning (think a less extreme sissification). Maybe could've worded it better, but really couldn't think of anything. Figured it was self-explanatory regardless.

Whether that's malicious or not is a completely different argument. One I'm not going to get into.

Personally I don't get all these male/female protagonist nonsense. Clearly anyone who prefers a type of protagonist is expressing a preference,
Clearly you didn't read any of the posts and missed the point entirely.

Those of us that mentioned preference did so in a general sense after a comment was made about multi protag games, not in the sense of being catered to here.

Helps if you don't read half a conversation and jump tp the wrong conclusions.

The only point made in reference to this game was an earlier comment about multi protag games. The male/female preference mentioned afterwards had nothing to do with this game it was just conversation.

Ahh i do not mean this is a slut simulator what i meant was that i tend too only play fp games if a pure lesbian route is possible, i do play a few games where the fp can turn in too a slut but they have too be well made and with a route where you have the option too avoid it. But when it comes too fp games i prefer a lesbian romance. You are removing the reagan route, will there still be a lesbian route ,if not then i will probadly have too force myself too stop playing even though i enjoy the characters.

I'm not removing the Reagan route itself. I'm removing the sex scene and replacing it with something a little tamer/more realistic. You will still have the option to pursue her (and others, but not at the same time.).

The switching from character to character really makes it hard to follow the story. Its like every scene you are a different character. Also the Game just drops these characters onto you without any explanation.

I have no fucking clue what any of these characters wants. Its all very confusing.
I'm sure you've picked it up, but there's more to the story than just what the two protagonists are experiencing at that moment. There's events happening around them that they can't know, because they aren't there - nor are they psychic. But said events are integral to understanding how everything will connect. There's a larger overall scale to the storyline, but everything is connected in one way or another to a single nucleus. And to get that understanding across, I have to branch off to different scenes. It's a tough happy-medium to find, I'll admit. I could leave viewers in the dark and just hit you with everything at once, but then viewers get mad with 15 paragraphs of information they're supposed to remember for later hits them. I could show them what's happening, but it makes it hard to follow.

There's a lot of low key clues in the writing and in some renders. I said it in another reply, more or less. I'm not going to hand-hold the viewer when it comes to writing, but transitions could be admittedly better done in some way. Just have to figure out how.

Also why do 90% of the Characters in this Game look like fucking Punks and/or straight out of a Final Fantasy Game?
So, you were either born after the scene kid era died out (in which case, you shouldn't be on this forum.) or you were a normie that managed to bypass it. Either way:

Because I have a thing for Alt girls (and guys, to some extent.), mostly. But more importantly - 2010/11 core music. The scene this VN takes place in is basically emo, goth, scene, or a Tumblr girl wearing an Invader Zim shirt who was doing it for the aesthetics (which I realize is basically a scene kid as I'm writing out. . .). Asking Alexandria, Motionless In White, Confide, A Skylit Drive (more post-hardcore, but same nonetheless.). And for the sake of any oldheads reading, Avenged Sevenfold, Haste The Day, Killswitch Engage, PTW, Shadows Fall, etc. Though, the aesthetic of the VN is clearly based around the scene side of it with Asking Alexandria, and so forth.

There's 2. 1 Male. 1 Female. 1+1=2. I've stated it a few times. If you're that against it, you do realize there's an "X" button, right? I get it. You feel jipped, mad that you couldn't self-insert or whatever other unhealthy way you attempt to escape real life, but you paid nothing for it. You downloaded it for free, opened it for free, and you can just as easily close it for free and move on with your life instead of wasting your valuable time whining about something that doesn't appeal to you in borderline English.

So some how all this is going to make sense at some point? I'm not trying to be rude but so far the whole connect thing seems like multiple scales of different models all trying to be fit together in one. Like a scattered deck of playing cards that are all different sizes. The multi protag isn't really too big of a deal, the real issue is most characters not all but most seem completely unlikable. That is usually a huge selling point for a story driven avn likable characters, but so far almost everyone seems like an antagonist. Maybe that's the vibe you are going for idk, I get you aren't used to the shy trope for female characters or males, but there should be something positive or likable about them. Good luck and I hope you find a stride with your story that isn't so confusing.

I was in my mid 30s during 2009 when Avenged Sevenfold's drummer "The Rev" died so we had a farewell party for him. In my mid 20s (1999-2002) I was in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington attending some of the raves and going to parties where punk rock was being blared as loudly as possible with our boomboxes and shit. Everyone was wearing platform shoes, had spiked chokers, and was trying to dress like Amy Winehouse. Even back in 1997, alternative body styles and sexual orientations weren't shunned but it wasn't really part of the picture until nearly 10 years later. I do keep up with this game because I can remember hearing about all the shit that followed cover bands since it's easier to find and interact with them. I mean, once they hit stardom, they start getting rather isolated and hard to reach. So I have spoken directly with band member who played scene music and there's been some really shady shit going on. This reminds me of those times. (y)

One of my favorite games currently being made. Especially love playing as Raine but damn some of the story is dark. The introduction of her biological mother and what she says...just yikes. Poor girl.

(starting the game again, my saves were too old ^^!!)
Sorry about that. It'll probably happen again for in the next update or two as the first quarter of the game is going to go through some rewriting (and thus some new code being put in, thus fucking up saves again.). Shouldn't be happening again after that, though. :)

Oof. Thanks for point that out. Must've used the initials when defining characters in the code without realizing it. Will get that fixed.

The topmost woman is Alessa. Both Erins are the same, just a different haircut - which was mentioned earlier on. Blue shirt is Alissa. That last one is Vick, an entirely unimportant minor character that gets offed in that scene. Again, thanks for pointing it out. Much appreciated.

Weird sentence coming from someone on F95.
I'm not afraid to call a spade a bloody shovel.

Self-insertion is unhealthy, and is almost always rooted to a deeper issue, thus escapism. It's healthier than OD'ing on fentanyl or doing some blow physically, but it's still not healthy. Not saying it's wrong to do, just not good for you. Even then, that was more of a chomp at their entitlement for bitching about something they could've easily walked away from and forgotten about instead of wasting their time writing whatever kind of broken Enlgish that was.
