So, played it. And the renders are above the average I played from this site so far. At least some. Storywise, I think it's definitly not very good. I mean, I don't get it, why was there the need to turn the MC against everyone and turn everyone against him? Also, depending on what happened at the end, I think it's more than likely that Rebecca is either dead or needs to leave the city. It's a complete BS shitshow. Oh, and btw. for a porn game, that got a year of development, there is actually very little happening, had just 2 scences. Maybe the dev should cut the porn part all together and develope just a regular VN. I will be back for the next version, but I don't have high hopes/expectations, that it will get any better at this point.

To me Rebecca getting perhaps killed off by katherine aint a big deal to me
Since Rebecca basicly lied to the MC for 5 years about his gf being alive and waiting for him
But yeah its definatly a train wreck at this point with this new update
Like the MC finally got Lily back after 5 years and suddenly he tells her and the rest to fuck off
I mean i get he wants to protect thhem for the possible backlash of his new role as leader of anarchist
But come on like he just got back with his gf give the mc a break
But yeah dont even see why this got a harem tag in the first place
Since almost every women the mc comes across screws him over in some bad way

MC is a leader. He got his own crew. Now he marries the opposite babe leader and they own the city.

This game is really frustrating to play, MC is getting fucked over left and right by everyone and he doesn't even react really. Everyone is lying to him and again, he doesn't care. And the majority of these LIs aren't even LIs imo, they feel more like antagonists or something. Why would I want to hang around with "LIs" that are constantly lying to you and trying to fuck you over? It's just weird.
The author might be reaching, but to his credit is not as if the vibe of the game was that of the others you usually find on this site so... I mean why are you still expecting it to play like the other ones? And all in all is not bad, but I do see the point that some are making. The story IS getting unnecessarily convoluted. Hope he tones down the twists, sects, etc.
I don't get the point of the harem path if the harem path doesn't even start until season 2. It seems like there should be some additional scenes to prepare for it in some of the earlier chapters because they way it flows now is just weird, and I don't think it's a translation thing I think it's a lack of cohesive scenes.
Just to be clear I love everything else about the story and the world building. The powers, the families, hierarchies, etc. all really interesting

Its probably because its clearly based on VtM, where the overall theme is everyone else trying to fuck you over until you somehow get on top.
Sometimes a weakness of VtM-like storytelling is that your failures are largely inevitable early on, which feels railroaded.. but there's usually large payoffs later in.

I mean sure later on things might go better for the MC but then the damage is largely done to many LI
Like the mc can only trust Lily and Miyuki at this point
And that for a harem game is pretty messed up
Specially since Rebbeca and her ebony wifey were lieing to the MC for years
Annabell lied as well for years
Then you have Samantha that white haired loli figure who screws us over big time with Russo
Like i can understand the need for drama and tension in a vamp game
But man why make it a harem game when u alienate almost all the women that supposed to become in the harem

MC is a double trouble beast of a demonic powerhouse right now.
Of course, dethroning the king and taking his place will do that to you.
Remember what lestat had to do in queen of the damned: betreay the woman he sought after,
or just play ball with all the other back stabbing weirdos looking to end her.
Of course, after the deed, he was left to deal with everyone coming for his head:
He had no word, after doublecrossing his lover,
He had no future, after effectively toppeling the whole power structure of all vampires,
He had no friends, after antagonizing his mentor and then his peers.
Allied to his hostiles just to double cross the queen gave him nothing,
he lost the queen, he lost his coven, he now needs to fight to keep his trauma.
Game high!

Also the MC is the new leader of the anarcist faction ... That i can understand totally fine with it
But the big problem is none of the members actually treat him as the leader
They all treat him like just a member ... zero respect

Ok first off I don't care much about the bad English translations and applications(ex. Rebecca says MC lines and vice versa). Overall, I understand what is being said and what is happening. So, that is good enough for me.
However, the story is playing out too much like a chick TV series. Something happens and before you can cope another thing happens. Then just before you wrap your head around that another thing happens that just seems to make the first problem trivial and forgotten completely. Even more messed up is that this all happens in the world around the MC that he mainly creates. Yet, at the same time seems oblivious to altogether. It's like being in love with the first couple seasons of a show just for it to switch producers. Then, slowly tumble down a cliff.
I like the game. Well I did up to the point where he (mostly spoiler free don't worry) makes a life changing decision. Then all of the sudden things snowball into a shitstorm that he seems completely confused of.
Did you think I was complaining about how things are progressing in the story? HA! I was referring to the build-up with the girls in the story! This alone regardless of everything else the game offers is the worst part about it. Your character literally lays eyes on anyone who he thinks is attractive then BAMMM! He all the sudden is madly in love with them. Now the story of the game does try to justify this but, at the same time it ruins it with interactions not fully developed.
"I love you and no one else"... ten seconds later. "Babe don't worry about her! I love you and that's all that matters right now"... 5 seconds later. " What are you talking about? I love you don't you believe me?"
Now this all sounds like some douche in real life who actually tries to justify their actions but that's not how this game is built. This dumb fuck legit believes it. The main problem isn't even that though. The problem is that he straight up forgets about the other girls in the process while doing so.
This game is like being told you can have a harem. Then fucks up the dialog to the point where the characters don't even believe the writer anymore. Like if he wants to be with more than one girl and, you've made choices that reflect that. Then there should be some inner dialog or scenes that reflect these choices and give it validity. Instead it's like "you made these choices which counts toward the harem" but the girls involved don't get the memo.
Hell I could type a 100 more paragraphs and feel like I'm still not getting my point across.
With all that rant being said I enjoy the game. I like some of the characters and I like certain aspects of the MC and his development. However, on the same note I will also say that this game needs a complete rework. I have never wanted this from any game I truly like because it holds up the story and takes forever. But with this game it desperately needs it. I know the developer won't read this or if he does not give two shits or probably ban me from here if he can hell I don't know. But please take my advice. This game has the potential to be very good but not with it's current state. It is just going to drive away people from playing it.
I'll be back in Ch. 6 but damn if someone post that this game will be delayed for a whole year for reworks that would be the best news I heard all week.

Name me 5 successful games that have gone through reworks and came out just fine. Delayed for a year for reworks, LUL as if that wouldn't just run the game into the ground and completely remove most of the funding.
