Weekly report 128
Hi, everybody.
First, thank you to everyone who commented on the last report. We appreciate the support, and although we don't plan to stop working right now, we have decided to continue taking Sundays off.
Now the report:
Last week, Chestnut worked on cutscenes and backgrounds. Most of the artworks she did were for the events from the second half of the first quest, one exception being a cutscene that she recorded, and you can watch its creation here. We also posted a background that she had been working on and is now almost finished.
I have been mostly writing dialogues for Gomira's second quest. Some editing was done, particularly regarding the earlier scenes, because Gomira's first quest directly transitions into the second one, and some backtracking was needed to make sure everything made sense. I also coded the base of Gomira's sprite (because I was stuck with a piece of writing and wanted to do something else).
Next week, I will be working exclusively on dialogues. Chestnut has to design different hairstyles and outfits for the upcoming poll that we will start next week (either Thursday or Friday). Additionally, there are other cutscenes she has begun and wants to complete.

Honestly, I like this game a lot and the devs seem like nice people, but the only reason this game ISN'T one of the worst examples of milking I've ever seen is because the release it for free. Honestly, if you get something for nothing, you have nothing to complain about IMO.

Game is good and I don't mind them taking their time (babies are a hell LOT of work). I don't mind it since I don't just sit on my computer all day masturbating to porn games. I haven't even finished 90% of the games I've downloaded and supported lol
How come the download from Mega is 3+ GBs, yet the other ones are 700 MBs? Is there something I'm missing? I'm trying to go from 0.5.01 to 6.01 (then patch over to .02)

We got the last 1 ~3 months ago, so another 6 months is most likely what'll happen. Unless their kid(s) slow the devs down way more than they thought

If everything is 100% then within 1-2 weeks you get an update. After 100% they use 1-2 weeks intensively search for bugs. So you don't get those crashes like Zombie's Retreat.

The last update was 3 month's ago. The first month after release was used to review the previous update and outline the work required for the current update. So they've spent 2 months to get to just under 20%. I'd say your looking at another 9 months to get to 100% at best.
Could be, because of their new baby. But the numbers go up a lot faster now, than in the first month. We will see...
They do it for fun, you can only hope that they will one day finished the game. So many have been abandon, like milky city, or Oopsy Daisy.

They barely started on the art and wait till they get to the coding/debug lines ..... You won't get this until ~August at best
I would do art latest too, because you first need to get the story working. And they probably have all the pictures already drawn but without the detail/coloring. Who knows.
But like I said, having a baby won't make it faster, august is not an unlikely option.

Ya that's why I said at least, since the art is usually the slowest task. Their only chance of getting it sooner is if they get another artist to help out.
