Gomira's story is lengthy it seems. I always assumed a girl's story is proportional to the amount of scenes planned but i was wrong.

Both Gomira and Rose have less planned scenes than Myrtle, but their stories are longer

You know... I actually kinda expected the new update to drop in april or may at the latest but I guess I was overly optmistic. I haven't been keeping up to date with the game or the devs since the last (current) update so I'm not sure if something is going on with Chestnut and Pistachio. Not sure why it takes so much longer than usual unless the update is gonna be twice as big as the ones before it  Seeing how the update is only about halfway done is kinda worrying. I'm still just as excited as I always was for any update but it certainly starts to feel like 'What a Legend' might never finish... atleast not in the next 20 years when looking at how incredibly big the world is and how we are still just in the first out of 7 or 8 (?) hub worlds.
ignore the salty replies. What you were enquiring is completely valid. Don't let the dwellers chronically addicted to porn, who spend 12 hours a day on this site tell you otherwise.

I wish the devs well but this sort of thing is far too common with so many new games on this site. Arguably even badik gets too much of a pass if it wasn't so monstrous in content. Too many times do fairly recent games release an update that can be played in 10 mins but took 6-8 months just to drop.

Not saying this game is one of those, I doubt chesnut and co are like that but its definitely a reoccurring problem. Ambition sells much more than practicality on this site. I've seen threads argue to the death over an abandoned title. Very strange

Glad you chose 1 of the worst counter to your point to try and argue devs blow

Having a kid isn't what's causing the update to take over a year, It's the size of the content for this update. This is the largest amount of content they've ever planned on any of their releases.
Now having a baby has slowed them down a bit. But they aren't massively behind what their normal progress would be.
An example of just how large this update is compared to previous ones would be to look at the art tasks (This is usually the slowest part of development). The previous update (which had been the largest up to that point) had 199 art tasks and took chestnut 10 months to complete. The current update has 280 tasks a massive 40% increase on the last one. Hence the reason I felt gomiras story should have been a 2 parter rather then a single release.
Yeah not to be that guy but pretty sure people would be less prone to complaining if they did updates more often with smaller doses of content. Just so we can at least be assured that the project hasn't been abandoned.

They actually had a vote on it on patreon and more people voted for bigger updates with more time in between them. There's not really any reason to think it's abandoned since they regularly post status updates and evidence that they are still working on the game.

This site just doesn't really like a lot of patreon devs. Certain devs kind of ruined everyones faith by taking forever to update and then only updating a small amount of content. So now half the forum thinks every dev is trying to scam them if there isn't a new update every month. You'll see the exact same complaints on other game threads that take follow the same sort of large updates with lots of time in between them approach that this game does.

Personally I prefer the bigger updates. I mean waiting is annoying but it's not like this is the only game I play. While I'm waiting for this game to update I'm playing some other game and while I'm waiting for those games to update I'm off playing this game or another game. Even for games I play that update frequently I usually don't play them immediately.

It seems that game developers can't win. If they produce infrequent large updates, then some people are going to complain that there's too long between them. If they post frequent small updates, some people will complain that there's not enough content. It seems that what some people want is big updates at least once a month, and of course they have to be high quality and bug-free. If it's just a two-person team, as with this game, that's not going to happen. (In fact even with a big team it would be very, very difficult if not impossible.)

They could have hired the amount of people necessary for an AAA game for this, producing contents worth a week of play every months, with every possible amount of girls imaginable, without bugs, available for every platform and of course free of charge, in short a miracle, and there will be still complain, imho it's an uphill battle.
At this point the idea that the devs are milkers it's already established and try to reason with these people is futile, and will only result in a waste of time at least that's my opinion. :)

Their patrons voted for this (fewer and bigger updates) and they have a weekly sign of life post so not sure what gives the impression it might be abandoned?

Seems like good idea and it's true but i don't think they can do this since they only make 8k per month. I recently get into this game and really like it so far. Was played the something unlimited, innocent witches etc but none of them are this enjoyable and stick to the point. It seems like this game getting update really slow and not a big progress so far? well when i'm looking to others like gunsmoke games, sad crab company etc they make shit ton of cash but still no big deal also.. I hope this game and the devs gets better cuz ngl i really like this game so far.

I'm sorry, but my post was ironic and somewhat of a rhetoric answer to the "dev milkers" constant complain that seem the meme of the moment nowadays here and in other forums, so forgive me if it looked like I was asking for something more from them.
That being said I can assure you that both Pistachio and Chestnut have a strong work ethic and they are really dedicated to the development of this game, hence why the updates are slow, they prefer both quality and quantity with no compromises about these two things, so they take all the time to do a good and flawless work, and they release an update only when they think it's good enough and nothing is rushed or bugged.
Also they were always honest and upfront in regard of this approach with their patrons, they never tried to sell false promises and always communicate when problems occurred during every single phase of the game development.
So there's nothing to fear about the game, because they are very focused and dedicated to do their best with it, imho so I'm ready to wait all the time necessary for the next release because I know it will be worth it. :)

Anybody able to access new content?

I have 6.0.2 but the helpme orb doesn't show anything new and I've gone to all the areas and haven't found anything. It looks like the last patch?

I'm using a previous save, I've also tried the save that was a few pages back.

Help
