last i played on of this, love the gingers but I ignored the others. but then in one scene the excluded NP's referred as if I had something with her. that's an turn off.

-NTR/cheating just to inflate the story with more h-scene is a no go for me if I choose an answer that is irrelevant anyway.

last but not least:

there are so many games out there with great renders and a plot that I found appealing.
but when the situations described above occur I quickly lost interest in it.

the mc male/female should settle in a bit and get to know each other first with the npc's that one meets.
I find it rather interesting how a character develops in the further course of the game and that keeps me going.
TDLF is such an example, well crafted characters, good looking renders, well-written story, humor and sometimes heartbreaking scenes...the whole package just fits even with little h-scene.

For some people it's the setting and character connection that's interesting, not necessarily the blood-related taboo aspect. Because of that stepcest works. If your kink is the blood-related aspect, of course then it doesn't work, but if your kink is the other aspects that come with it, then it works equally – or even better (if you don't like the blood-related aspect).

4) ...more than one in a game...
5) ...smaller than their mothers.
6) School settings. Any contemperary setting is boring, but school settings are the worst of the worst.
7) Doting mothers of naive offspring in incest games. An incest game should be about breaking an absolute taboo, not a naive romance about mom teaching her kids.
8) Female protagonists getting raped. If someone attempts to rape a female protagonist I want to choose how to slaughter him not watch him rape the MC.

There isn't really any specific trope I am sick of more that I am sick of "lazy writers".
Any trope can be looked at as over used or bad if it is employed poorly.

I wrote a rant a while back blackmail is a weak characters card that is but one example.
Another over used one is "But I have no other choice" the character is usually never given any real choices they would have in real life.
Person takes advantage of naive person, the naive character believes shit even a crack hoe would never fall for.

Anyway if you look at any of the tropes other people listed above they all have the one commonality the author / writer is a lazy shit bag who just wants to force a situation to push the narrative they want quickly rather than expend any brain power if they have it to come up with a realistic scenario. I would guess that in 99% of the case the there is a secondary reason behind that most of those writer probably never got laid in their lives unless she was drunk off her ass. In short they have no skills when it comes to talking to women and they are probably the people manipulate rather than being one who is actually capable of doing the manipulation.

Or short answer it isn't the tropes that are bad but the stupid writer who can't write that makes them bad and feel over used.

I don't have a fetish for sissyfication or tansformation, but I often don't find games that bad simply because the games I play are corruption games and the transformation takes place in the beginning and either gives choices or don't mention the transformation that much.
I do see how it can be frustrating to want to have a different route than those, because there simply aren't that many.
