To me the biggest worry about Rad6k GPUs is the vRAM setup - not just that it's 16 GB and not sharable (as far as I know), but also only 256-bit 14gbps G6. That's the same bandwidth as the 3070 and the 2070 Super before that, 448 GB/s vs the 760 of the 3080 and the 900+ (I can't remember off the top of my head) of the 3090. Plus, AMD's memory compression has traditionally sucked compared to NV - and while their fancy cache makes up for that in games, it doesn't seem like something that would be very applicable to 3D work...

All i know is i don't trust founder cards from Nvidia after the whole the 30series was shutting down from the power consumption. I rather wait til EVGA or MSI get there cards 100% worked out plus how is a 3080 burning through a 750 Psu and shutting down ?. so i don't trust the 3090 either, I have a 1200 watt PSU and i wouldn't even trust a 30series in my machine yet. So good luck with get a card and luck and here's to hoping your machine doesn't suffer due to the 3090.

Miru (not Miku)....in v0-6 is the new model. She will be changed in previous chapters with the rework.
Are there teasers or something showing what the new models look like for the reworked characters?
Chapter 6 was basically done and treat as post-rework, so that should be roughly how they are in 1-5 Redux [TM]

Well when can we expect an update? its been quite a while
I think they're redoing earlier stuff rn, and if I'm catching what everyone here's been talking about right I think the dev has been having some computer issues and needs to get some new GPUs.

I finished the game yesterday and I loved it. I know that chapter one to five are in the reworks and content in being added and reshuffled but are they going to change the story altogether?
I didn't play with the ntr turned on and miru was faithful to me and everything between her and mc seemed to be going well, but in the beginning of the 6th chapter MC reveals those things about miru to the others and I felt like that came outta nowhere. So is the whole story being reshuffled?
And any ETA on how long before chapter 1-5 are done and new chapters are released?
Anyway if you have read it I appreciate you taking out your time to do so.

yep, he is doing the rework mostly due to story adjusting/improving (#4,540), and im afraid there is no any eta (apart from telling "a fair amount of time") possible atm.

And have that semi-vague eta made worse with a fried GPU. So, it'll probably be a hot minute even after Summer's Gone has its next chapter released.

With how things are going currently with all the setbacks and what not. IF SG get's released this year, the earliest you can expect anything from WiAB even if by next year with getting a new gpu. Best you can hope for is around end of april. If unlucky then it is going to be a bit longer then that.
Hopefully after all this rework and him having his gpu's things will or might speed up, At the least I hope but will have to see to believe.
So long story short if you are hoping for an update soon, that wont be the case sadly.
