Maya, the lesbian character oppressed by her white, middle aged, heterosexual religious-conservative father is, obviously, a cliché in western countries in XXI century. I don´t think that Dr. PinkCake is being controlled by the lobby gay, obviously, but he´s into that mainstream thinking and that´s why all his homosexual characters (Maya and Chad) are victims in this game. Also, apparently, the player should feel sympathy for them just because they are homosexual, even if they both are awful characters.

Chad is a terrible person that makes her girlfriend´s life miserable for a long time, and even physically assaults the Main Character in the middle of the night. But both Sage and the Main Character, apparently, should be worried about him and his secret. A secret that, in real life in a US college, nobody would actually care about (again, the "victim" gay cliché)

Maya is a drama queen that, after lying and tricking the main character for their own selfish purposes, emotionally manipulates him to get his help. Because she´s not able to take care of her own problems. And DPC pretends that the player must feel OK with that and accept that, even if the Main Character is not romantically interested in her anymore, he must be her best friend and allow her to drag him into her problems. It makes the Main Character not a good person, but a fucking emotional hostage of Maya. As a player, you have to be very stupid to feel sympathy and empathy for characters like those.

There are only two reasons to follow Maya´s path:

1. Maya has a cute 3D model. That´s all. Some people don´t care about the character´s personality. Only see a cute face and a good body.

2. To be a pathetic Social Justice Warrior that gets his little prick hard (if a SJW can get his prick hard, which is highly doubtful) with the fantasy of being the "hero" of a lesbian by pissing off a white, heterosexual middle aged conservative man (the evil for the gay lobby and those pathetic SJW) and being accepted into her relationship as a lame third wheel.

I know that some members here are going to make this comment to be censored: achedcroissant, Heycock and a few others. This comment has been censored dozens of times already, even when it was written in non-offensive terms. They are the SJW in this forum, playing petty cancel culture, and making lobby to make the mods censor the comments that they don´t like because aren´t progressive enough. Now, I don’t fucking care if I offend them. They all can lick my ass. Also, the rest of the users of this thread that, instead of coming out against the culture of cancellation on a fucking porn game forum because of half a dozen "SJWs," agree to be censored and write only comments authorized by Achedcroissant, Heycock and the other SJW, so they can keep talking about boobs. None of you deserve that this thread of BaDIK continues open.

I didn't get any blue balls through out the entire playthrough...not even once...maybe a couple of hard-ons, it is full of building relations for now...and the MC is not unlikable or asshole, he went through some big shit and is recovering and healing those still deep wounds from the past. It a game of healing if you will.

Oh, the Scarlet Scandal! I don't really mind Scarlet being younger than Helen. It isn't uncommon for siblings to be 10 years or more removed in age. My daughter and her younger sister were born almost 18 years apart. But if the game keeps the mom fetish from the original it may not play as well into it. Still, a good-looking model. Scarlet's story in the original game kind of ended with an evil shrug, so I am curious to see where this new game will take her.

The problem is not the age difference between Helen and Scarlet, the problem is that Scarlet still has two children who are at least 18 years old....

Not a problem if she popped them out when she was a teen. The model could still pass for early 30's with Helen in her late 40's.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. It is not to my taste. It is like "Come for the hot girls with big tits, stay for the crushing depression and existentialist ennui." The girls are great, but the MC is a garbage person who is cruel to other characters even when you make kind choices. Maybe at the end of his arc, he will have "healed" enough to treat other humans with dignity and respect but for now, I just hate spending time in his skin. It makes me feel gross.

The rework has been a success for some characters undeniably, but Scarlett is a definite miss for me. This new Scarlett is too young, not a milf. I even found Ch6 Scarlett hotter than the reworked one. Her character was shallow but her looks were more clearly convincing. While I don't doubt that Ocean's storytelling will help make the new Scarlett convincing as well after she gets screen time, I don't think very credible to have a character who looks under 35 to be the mother of at least one adult, and we have way more young characters than milfs already.

also, I was hoping a more convincing new version of mc's father
not that is bad, but I don't know, his design feels kind of weird to ME I don't know what everyone else's might think about this

Oceanlab NEVER had a miss for me personally. I said before that he by far has the most beautiful women of any game.
Unfortunatelly i have to agree here with everyone else. New Scarlet looks too young, she definitely doesnt look like a MILF, she is suppose to be around Helens age but could easily pass as her daughter, on top of that she kinda looks bland.
Old Scarlet looked way more appealing to me personally. Seriously i think he could have just updated ch. 6 Scarlet and it would have worked perfectly. We have a lot of young characters in the game we need more defyning MILFs. Ch. 6 Scarlet looked like a trophy wife, like some rich dude married her back when she was a model in her twenties and shes now in her 40's. The new one looks like a girl from a liberal arts college on her way to get another pumpkin spice latte with that goofy oversized hat. Its a shame but even Oceanlab isnt perfect. With that said its just 1 female i can skip. Hopefully the other girls are up to the usual Oceanlab standard.

I'd say if the goal is to make Scarlet look closer to Helen's age, if he can do something maybe with her facial skin just to not make it look like a 20 year old's that would probably go a long way. Some women can have a rockin' bod into their 40s and even 50s if they work at it, so the body isn't that unbelievable it's just that the face looks like a 20 year old college girl, so maybe find a way to "age" the face a bit to look more like a 40 y/o and that will probably help a good bit.

Also a side question for folks who are familiar with this game as I never played the original...so Helen is the mom of the MC, and then Scarlet is supposed to be her sister?

Who is Daphne exactly?

And Leia is biological sister (with the incest patch?)?

Sounds like there's gonna be a bunch of characters in this one so I'm trying to familiarize. :)
