Everything is getting reworked. Chapter 1 was new content because it was so different from the original chapter 1. It's a different game now.

6 chapters for the previous game, but now everything could be different. Not sure. I was heavily critical of this, but now that I've played the new Chapter 1, I'm glad it happened. Characters actually seem to have a realistic personality now.

after playing stay true stay you(which is not terrible but very very unrealistic like a lot of games on this site) yesterday i am glad that ocean goes that direction where it all began is so much more realistic and cheracters feel alive i am glad that he goes in this direction and i think ocean takes erotic vn on another level so i am very curious in which direction this games goes wish i could time travel to find out faster.

I believe it will be more the 6 chapters. The original incarnation was clearly cut short and it was meant to be way longer. Hopefully the devs realized that they where overdoing storywise and this time there will be less elements but better run and explored. Yet the new version is likely to be longer and keeping the level of quality this high will probably require a lot more then 2 years.

Never played the original and just completed the chapter 1 of the rework. Absolutely loved it. Not many games where the MC is a chad. Looking forward to see more

dont know about the chad part does mc look good YES but ocean is not so one dimesonal like other games so can you play mc as a chad/dougebag probably but I am pretty sure that you can play other ways too
I think he’s referring to "summers gone” but I don’t understand how that game is a “cringefest”

2 years? How about 10 years lol okay maybe I'm exaggerating...or not who knows but it will definitely take alot longer than two years given the quality of this game and the fact that he has another game with the same quality he's also currently working on.. Oh and don't forget about the fact that Ocean have at least 2 more games he's planning to work on in the future so I'd say we'd be be lucky to even get 1 update a year once he starts working on the other 2 as well.

Finally, I played the reworked version, and it felt discombobulating. I don't know if this reworked chapter is supposed to be a blueprint framework to work with and add stuff later, but many of the events felt disjointed. Going to say if it weren't for me playing the previous versions of the game multiple times, and because of that being able to fill in many blanks and questions presented by the current rework, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy this nearly as much. The game would have just given me too much rigid plot to gloss over and leave me unable to take in the well-written dialogue, which is unsurprisingly just as good as I remember. The models have improved, and most notably, Miru now looks like someone who will actually give you a moment of pause for consideration before you decide to throw her to the hounds. The MC, on the other hand, went from the default faceless Chad model to a somewhat of a cross between a bearded gipsy lady that is about to read your palm and Chris Angel a magician that's about to do some card tricks. Both pleasing and amusing in their own way.

Well, it's still a first chapter. It's supposed to be somewhat mysterious and get audience invested to find out what's going on, rather then provide answers already. Let's see how it will develope going on.

Purposefully halting and or the slowing down of production to get more money out of people and string them a long is fraudulent imo.
