To me, everything Gina says seems more like Stockholm Syndrome than that they have been "good" to her.

I see it differently. The Twins might have had few friends and friendly aquaintances with most other aquaintances only a strained relationship, but from what we can gather Willi and Leia were good friends to those few.

When I was a kid we didn't have computers everywhere, so most of the time we played outside it was done in the local woodland. I think my old highschool still has a lot of natural woods around its property, but most of the other locations have been cut down and redeveloped since then.Maybe that's why they always ended up playing in the forest? Leia could at least relax then
Carving our own trails through the woods, establishing routes for the bikes, that was a lot of fun. We even uncovered a 20 foot hole one year, which seemed very oddly placed. It was like a giant had scraped it out in the center of the woodland. if it had been coated with cement it would have been a great bike/skate ramp.
One of the great advantages to being in the woods was that nobody (e.g. authority figures, police, parents, whatever) could see you there. It gave a real sense of freedom. If you're also fooling around with your sister, probably even more reason to not want to be seen.

I am really curious what Willi and Leia did there besides playing and what they cut into the treebark. That is definitely something important since not only is it a happy memory for Willi, he slept a night there.Maybe that's why they always ended up playing in the forest? I can relate. I did something similar back when I was a kid. We had a few ruins in our woodlands which were fun to adventure through, though the underground icehouse was creepy as anything

An underground icehouse? I admit that sounds both awesome and scary. Our biggest exploration happened in the late teenage years, when we found an abandoned mental hospital. It became a travel destination for folks in our age group. Hilarious seeing a group of 20-30 teenage kids freaking out over every little sound when they're exploring.
I agree with Turret, though - I want to know what was actually carved into the tree. I imagine it being something simple and stupid, like a W+L or whatever, but it would be interesting if it were something more, like actual dates or a message. I would be thrilled beyond imagining if I were able to find some evidence of my happier youthful times like that.
Our biggest forest "playground" were the ruins of our city´s castle and walls. In the times of helicopter parents unthinkable, I am glad to have lived through the older times. The Eighties were not better, that is mostly hindsight, but it was a great time to be a child and teenager.
As for what the Twins carved into the tree, I agree it is most probably something simple, stupid or mushy. But then again, it can be more elaborate considering how important this place is to both Willi and Leia. Leia came to the place when she called Willi and Willi´s memories we saw and him staying a night there, it is a powerful place for them.
I am curious when Miru will see that tree and when the twins return there together (if you play towards reconciliation with Leia). While she might suspect it already, if Miru ever comes to this place, it must become obvious to her who the girl Willi loved back then was.
Well I think you all can count yourselves lucky to have been growing up at this time. I grew up at the time when the internet and smartphones were just gaining popularity, it was a bit of a shame to see how every year many of the activities you thought of as normal became less and less common.
Today it's even worse when I look at my nephews, they all have a tv and smartphones in their room\pockets, even though they are under ten years old.

I enjoyed it when the old Miru was being unfaithful to the MC, but that's because I didn't like her as the primary LI. I'm still pro-Katie, though, and I don't like the artificial chastity that so many games force on a femme that isn't being fucked by the MC. Seeing Miru out having a blast with somebody else is perfectly fine with me, same for Leia and anybody else. It's not NTR if they aren't my LI. Bang away, ladies!
I mostly agree. Apart from Leia, she doesn't strike me as a person who just has sex for pleasure, there must be something more to it for her. At least that's my interpretation of her character.

Thats sounds really harsh for me. Sounds like you would call her out a bitch or gold digger or something like that.
And she doesn't strike me as needing that kind of behaviour. In the old version of the game, Leia was obscene rich, so if we assume the same for the new version, it makes even less sense.

Well, Leia is very much the Ice Queen and I'd suspect that she'd use sex as a weapon or a means to manipulate people to get what she wants.
You misunderstood me, I meant that she must be able to identify with her partner and see him as "worthy", not materially, she really doesn't need it.
So I'm currently downloading reworked version and got curious. How much stuff has changed? Is there any point to play old version of the game (for some sex scenes for example)?

From a visual point of view? Nope! Chapter 6 may be more apealing for the eye, but the rest is, how should I put it...
... interesting to see the visual evolution of the game.
Stroywise, hmm... Ocean said, that after Chapter 2 from the reworked will be anything diffrent. But maybe you can get a little more background lore from the old game to connect some dots fast in the new version.
I would say try it out. It's not like you'll be any stupider afterwards than you were before.
