Ocean told me in a DM on Discord that WIAB Patreon was taken down without even asking for a statement form him. Had didn't even get the chance to deny anything...
But because WIAB is waiting for Steam approval he had seen this more chilled. If the steam sales are going just moderate, he can get more money from it, than it would be even possible with patreon.

A sexual act is not necessary. The point within the patreon's guide changed some time ago, now it more or less says that there can be no relationship (sic) between relatives (blood, step, adoptive etc)

... certainly hope this Patreon setback doesn't deter the Dev from continuing WiAB. Imagine pouring your heart and soul into a project, only to have it disappear in the blink of an eye. While the dev have their local files, this setback undoubtedly stings

Nothing's disappeared - Ocean's got it on SS, and has got the page on steam. He's had to bring forward the release of season 1 to compensate for the loss of patreon, so it'll be early access on steam. Patreon's merely a middle man that processes payment, so it's just an avenue to advertise and publish that's been lost. With WiaB being paradoxically easier to release on steam than SG (because Ocean has to do it 18+ so there's no need to try to limbo under the line), I'm thinking it'll be a big relief once he's able to get the early access version up.View attachment 3609122
