The problems are not the renders themselves, but their implication, a mod would not just change, roommates to sister, it would require changing the story. Now it would be minor but the more the game goes on more change would be needed and the chances are that scenes will don't make sense then as some dosen't make now.

The Tagliatelle, the Linguine and the Fettuccine? Or is it just the Giopepe Tagliatelle they speak so much about?

I'm just going to answer this. WIAB as a crime drama is commercially much more successful than it ever was as an incest game.
And I don't deny that incest games tend to attract a lot of people with open wallets.

Clearly both of these are dwarfed by the success it had from the old version having a scene and a half of janky NTR.

I wish I could just work with Mon and be an informant for the Feds to take the entire syndicate down, Ethan Hunt style! Then all the families get taken down and William marries Mon and lives happily ever after with a beautiful woman without piercings

I'm getting carried away here...but I do wish we could put a bullet in Leia's head before the game ends. That'd be so satisfying.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility, in that kind of environment a wife who walks all over you is not well regarded.

My entirely unsubstantiated theory is that while the Zane's were the powerhouse, none of the Zane siblings showed the ability to head the family, and so the older generation arranged for Dylan and Helen (from a minor family) to marry, in order to bring in someone with the fortitude to run the Zane family.

Agree with most of that, I have no issue with most piercings though myself. As for Leia, as a LI no interest at all now (I did in old OG) but I the character is very interesting. However, the way things are going, that bullet might come long before we get the chance to put her down to keep the 'family' (by that I mean the other girls) safe.

Considering that Ocean put in many stupid changes (e.g.mustache-twirling mafiosi) with a crowbar into WIAB 4, how high is the probability he will get these change and crime story right? Not very!
You could have this stuff even more naturally with the old backstory, which had the crime element on board and on the sidelines ready to come in without destroying the character designs.

I mean sure if the whole crime story is not as serious and full of clown antagonist and bibi gangsters and there are not high stakes

And all the crime stuff like drugs , fights, family intrigues , high stakes decissions and so on are not there in the future

Than there would be no reason to even make a underworld crime story but I will wait what ocean is coocking

The tone didn't change that much... there's still situational comedy and absurd comedy.

I dont have problem with the goofy stuff or bibi stuff but if the underground crime world is like that and the antagonist are as goofy than I would be like why making a underworld crime story

But its just the start and even a crime story can have satire or goofy moments as long as the serious stuff is not that stupid
