on hold , on hold, abbandoned, 3 games on plate and no one finished...i'm starting to beiung a bit upset of these behaviour form devs.
You know what riles me up no end? Or rather to quote you: "starting to beiung (sic!) a bit upset"?

Entitled ppl like you!

Sheesh, at least use a spellchecker…

And turn it down a notch, will ya?

CheekyGimp until he fell ill has consistently delivered and his ppl - acewinz among them - have kept everybody and their brother in the loop as to his and the game's current status.

So please - STFU.

Holy shite you stired up the hornet nest :ROFLMAO: like it was said on this forum so many times: porn vn dev is one of the most dangerous job in the world, devs getting sick is so common among them i think they need a vaccine so the spread can be stoped:LOL:

HOLD you horses here Indio68, as you can see it is only labeled "ON HOLD" I learned the Folks here love this DEV. as do I. CheekyGimp is still working this game along with his partners. They all are doing their part in keeping us informed. Do the one thing I needed to do when I started on this thread Read the past post yourself. then if you still think this dev is of bad behavior we might listen to being upset. Na not really! We love  this Game and DEV too much!!

Nothing can be done, it's a side effect of Unus Manus condition. This issue commonly manifests itself with pro "ctrl" users when they reach the end without completing the process. (During this process one hand is busy with some sticky substance doing some aggressive but rhythmic motions, so only one hand is available.) They immediately check for a similar or a new source to complete the process, but not finding any new content fast enough can lead to frustration and anger or even madness which results in a shaky hand...

For those that are new around here, Cheeky and acewinz are a few of the best devs here. I can only think of a handful among many hundreds I am aware of who are as concientious and open with the fans. Devs don't have to hang around F95 and chat with all their fans (and deal with the trolls), so they should be given a huge amount of credit for doing so. Ultimately, I think being involved in the community here helps their games, and helps build support, it certainly does with me, but not all devs see it that way.

I get the frustration, in general, when much loved games are delayed, but unlike some devs, Cheeky and ace have always gone out of their way to communicate with all of us, and it is very much appreciated.

And don't minimize the impact of health issues on development. It is not like a typical office job where you show up, deal with paperwork, read and write emails, or sit in meetings all day. It takes creativity, and your mind to be in the right place, to build scenes, write dialog, and make the story flow cohesively. It is easy when you are young and healthy to scoff at all the devs with health issues, but that is real life for most people, and you will certainly experience it yourself someday. The fact that devs can deal with their health, and still find the time and enthusiasm to continue developing their games for the enjoyment of all of us, should be applauded, not criticised.

So, unless you just like to step all over a good thing, just for the fun of it, you really should direct your criticism about delays elsewhere. Cheeky and ace are really some of the good ones, and should be commended.

Plus, Where the Heart Is has a huge amount of content, and every release is very lengthy compared to most games here, so if it takes them an extra month or even 5 or 6, it will be excellent as usual I am sure.

Wow what a touching text, you ma frend should give counseling to all them bootlickers on how to write excuses and defend them devs...

Someone important to this game's development and the thread.
A more pertinent question, is who the fuck are you?
Which is closely followed by, why didn't you exercise some common sense and search the name with that incredibly useful search box?
Triggered much?!

Alright, I'm gonna get some flak for this, but I'm gonna say it: I willing to wait until December this year before I begin 'worrying' about new updates. It's not that I don't want them (I do), but you could say I'm more relaxed about deadlines (or lack thereof) than one should be. As long as they come (or rather, as long as it comes) this year, I'm fine.

On a less serious note, when are we going to get some nice NTR content? I think it's time we get some. Oh, yes, sir. I sure am dying for the MC to be cuckold by all girls.

Did you not get the latest news?

MC will never have a harem because Dog Boy is getting them all.

MC will end up with the librarian while Dog Boy gets constant orgies with all the girls and they give birth to little pups.

Just calling it like I see it. There are always a few of you trolls in every thread. It wouldn't be the same without such helpful comments. Congratulations.

I'd love to see your game. What game are you working on, since you are obviously an expert on game development? And such a hard worker, obviously.

I can't wait to see it.

Yeah, you don't want to go upsetting your player base on this here piracy site where we steal your hard work giving you nothing in return but demands for a harem and incest....

Also no harem.

Or incest.

haven't said those for a while, people may have forgot.
I've seen a couple people call this a "piracy" site. This is a bit odd for the following reasons.
First, devs post here. They work on engagement and on driving participation. They obviously want the exposure this site brings.
Second, the exposure works... people (like myself) have actually heard of a bunch of games and contributed to them financially because of the exposure of this site.

So, there's probably more to this place than, er, just piracy. It seems to me that it's a marketing tool and devs are actively participating in it to drive more income... plus to get some form of customer feedback. I'm not saying it's the most ideal form of feedback, a good chunk of the time, but something is generally better than nothing.

I'm not taking sides on either side of this disagreement. But let's please state the fact that customers don't have to make a product to critique a product, evaluate a product, or decide whether or not they want to buy (or lease, or rent, or whatever) a product.

ANY product put forth to the public for use (or purchase) will be and should be evaluated by that public. Product void of customer feedback will turn into product that's inadequate or unwanted.

We call it a piracy site because that's what it is.

The fact that devs use it to advertise doesn't change it's original purpose. It was designed with piracy in mind but some devs got clever and saw how many people came through here and used it to build their player base. Then others try to sugar coat it and hide the fact it's a site aimed at piracy.

Without sites like this a lot of those games would never get any attention.

However, none of that changes the fact that regardless of a devs a permission, their game will end up here because we're all software pirates.

That is what the site was created for.

Don't engage with that.....person, everyone who doesn't agree with him saying every Dev who doesn't deliver updates when HE wants them are bootlickers and white knighting......

I didn't see the comment they were quoting so it's someone on my block list. Can't be anyone worth mentioning then.

I feel like calling them trolls is offensive towards actual trolls.

See trolling is designed to elicit an emotional response in the people that read it. I remember a couple of years ago in an mmo forum someone talking about how they "beat the game". That ended up with hundreds of pages of people saying he couldn't beat an mmo. That was trolling.

Low effort eel bait some of these lot throw out isn't even worth responding to.

Just let them piss in the wind.
