oops, yes in August of last year. I don't vote often so I forgot.
In any case I did not change my mind. I find the game still as good or even better.

Just a guess, but according to the66 post -> https://f95zone.to/threads/where-the-heart-is-ep-16-cheekygimp.10549/page-194#post-1470761 the save location for android is outside the gamefile, so it needs permission to access it. Maybe that's it?
Yes i am running it on a MacSimply an oversight on my part when removing the extra screens from the image... I forgot to remove that one
I'll take a look at the compressed version, but compressed or not shouldn't alter how my mod works... Note that my mod is not for android. EDIT: are you running it on MAC, i have no issue on pc with compressed version...

Few days ago I started playing this game only because of Monica and Bella on the cover (had no clue who they were back then), but then i got to know Katie and... well... i think i have a crush on that girl. I got to Ep.15 fucking everything possible (as expected), but somehow it felt wrong towards Katie and started again ALL OVER, but being loyal to her as much as possible. This is the first porn game where i just can't skip a single line of story/dialog. And... i think i'm in love with Katie. I just adore her attitude and her body is an exact copy of my ex's body so yeah... she's quite a masterpiece. She's exactly the kind of girl i've ever dreamed about - both bitch and goddess. Oh and her eyes.. Those magnetic eyes!!!. Things are so twisted now, that i only fap to her and nothing else 
.Can't wait for the next episode where i hope we'd get a bit more story with Katie Hope there would be a happy ending with her at some point in the future.

I think i saw that modal issue with mac before not sure if I have to have renpy generate those files for mac for mac to accept them... I just have pc... I'll see if I can do that and if it alters the file.
Attached is the file with the modal commands removed, does it work for you?

One of the best parts of the game is how much focus the "side" girls receive,that way it feels like there are no clear main girls and it also provides good variety (games just focusing on the same 2-3 characters get very repetitive for me). Not to mention they are great characters, like Debbie for an example and I like the addition of Theresa too since she is a very different type of girl (looking forward here to more content with her).
Btw you are doing a great job with the game, this game is definitely one of my favourites here!
