At this point we probably better wait for 0.5 or [abandoned] :(
Wonder why game hasn't managed to attract more patrons. Maybe because main girl isn't virgin, or because updates where small without actual sex with main characters. I like the game, but current verion looks more like demo, than game which was in development 1.5 years.

It's worth trying now, but still unclear whether dev have guts to actually finish the game despite having almost no support.
Success is highly dependent on luck and dedication he can just drop project any time and start again under different name with better luck.
I don't think the main LI having experience is the problem, but content small and now is getting interesting and dev need to amp his corruption aspect as this story is not a conventional one.

Pumping content and finishing it could allow his name to grow when producing next title. Tldr low content and slow story development to hook patrons or get more buzz /theorycrafiting

I think the game seems very simple, which is often scary and effective for a book or movie, but as a game, it might be too hard for some people to imagine where things could go.

Some alternative approaches that might have been a bigger hook for readers:
  • A prison with multiple cells of people instead of one cell (in fact, there's still room for this to happen, perhaps after the current characters have bonded; the doors open, they realize other people are now in their predicament, and now they also have to choose whether to help each other against a whole crowd of desperate people); more Squid-Game-ish
  • More extreme challenges. Kissing/etc. aren't that intense, especially when you've already skipped over stripping and the characters are already eyeing each other up. "White Cube" evokes the "Cube" movie, with traditional horror/traps; why not just go with it and add some of those? Perhaps players can even kill off a character with their choices, leading to new ones.
  • More unusual setting. The white cube is eerie, but imagine something like some sort of apparent alien landscape: "have we been abducted, am I drugged/insane, or is someone playing games with us?"

Maybe because he wants a whopping 5$ for a receiving membership? I mean he has no big name, the updates are not that big, the setting is good, but the plot is not top-notch yet. Eva kiss still lets people play her game for 1$ and he wants 5? I would join for 1 or maybe even 2$ just to support him. I think if you already have a name, you can rise the entrance-level. But until then, you have to offer a good price-value-mixture.

I think $5 is not that much and is a reasonable amount you can pay to have access to someone's work. In fact, after some disappointing experiences I learned from my mistakes and today I pledge only $5 to all the different devs I'm currently supporting on Patreon. If someone considers that's too much money, they can subscribe every other month or just on a pay-for-update basis. It's up to you.

That being said, I agree with you up to a point because there is something that I find illogical about this dev's tiers on Patreon: the lowest $2 tier. That tier is absurd because it doesn't grant access to any new game update but it's just meant as a token of appreciation towards the dev's work. However, the game is not readily accessible for anyone anywhere else. Before, the updates went public after a couple of weeks, but since the latest update that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Why would someone give the dev $2 if they can't get the game anywhere for them to check it? It would only work if the game got leaked here or somewhere else, which isn't happening.
The way I see it, it would be much better if the lowest tier received the previous update after a new one is out for the next tier and above. For example, when v.0.5 is out the $2 tier would have access to v.0.4, and so on. That way people would have an incentive to subscribe to that tier if they believe that $5 is too much.

This isn't really the place for the conversation but since it is where I clicked I'll say it here I guess.
The whole Patreon development model doesn't make sense to me. Why would I pay a monthly fee for a game (any game, not just a mid-tier porn game) when I can pay a flat fee when it is released? What real incentive is there? Yes we are helping the Dev make ends meet while they make the game they want, but look at some of the more successful (number of patrons) Devs out there. Their games don't just come out done, they are working on them for years. That adds up quite a bit in the total money spent on monthly donations for a single game. Way more than you would pay for a normal AAA title brand new day of release.
Maybe I am just a tight-wad asshole but it has just never clicked as to the benefit for the patron.

Rant done. I'll go back to my hole now.

It doesn't make sense to look at it like a monthly subscription. When you're a patron, you're a patron supporting a creator who is making something you want brought into the world... whether it be painting the Sistine Chapel or a mid-tier porn game. Whatever it is. It's a group of fans of whatever it is combining their lesser financial might to support a months-or-years length project that might not otherwise ever recoup its investment for the developer.

tl;dr: it's not a transaction, it's patronage, a way to give a couple bucks to help out devs who are doing stuff you like

The problem I have with Patreon and these types is there is no commitment to a product. Its essentially having some guy on the street show you a picture and say please give me money and Ill make more pictures you might like.

I've completely stopped support on these platforms because the number of devs that end up quitting, or changing content to a direction I dont like is WAY higher than the number of devs that put out good products. I'll gladly throw a dev 20 bucks when a game is completed that I enjoy as if it were a aaa game coming out, but I'm totally over funding devs who dont give a shit.

Yes, exactly what Affogado says. It's of course not the same exactly, but it's somewhat like the model done during the late Middle Ages, the Renaissance, or the Enlightenment. At a certain point, William Shakespeare's whole acting troupe was completely paid for by first Queen Elizabeth I and thereafter by King James I. Both saw the value in their ability to satisfy the masses but also provide them individually with entertainment. They didn't pay for individual plays to be written. They didn't pay for each given performance. They paid for the existence and regular work of the troupe. They made sure the troupe could live and do well so they could regularly create things that brought them entertainment. Patreon is a modern-day model of basically the same idea.

And obviously that's completely your choice. But to be clear, the model Patreon is built on is not a buy-a-product model. It's a support-a-creator model, in the hope that they are legit and will make something you will enjoy. It's obviously a risk, but so is buying a completed game and finding it falls apart halfway through — something that also happens all the time. I see very little advantage of one over the other, but I do understand your point. Some people prefer one more than the alternative, and of course that's completely fine.

Well, I'm happy that the game is here again but this is absurd: the previous update from September was never leaked, but now someone has uploaded the newest one while it's still only available for the highest Patreon tier :KEK:
Anyway, I'll check it out later this week. I'm very curious about what happens after little sis' comes on stage.

EDIT: OK, my bad. I guess "someone" has leaked the version from September (0.4c) right after version 0.4d was released earlier today. So this is not the latest version. It's a good strategy, though and it makes my comment about the $2 tier superfluous now.

Long...........unskippable...............slow................artistic..........slideshows..........

Other than that, interesting concept and decent execution, I'll definitely check this out as it progresses.

This still needs a rewrite with an incest patch.
There are possibilities.
But then we would need to know what the creator really intended.
