Well, it seems here in Michigan, that the medical industry is all about 'taking their sweet time' in doing anything... and it isn't just me around here, even my neighbor had to wait 3 weeks for his scan after having cancer removed from his bowels.
Though you could also be right about having multiple people looking at it. Just, got to be honest, tired of constantly being in pain. I've had so many damn surgeries on my spine, but I got to say, this pain by my arm is more INTENSE than ANY of the pain I've experienced for my back... we even took an Xray to be sure that I didn't break my arm (since the bones of my spine are brittle, we worried that happened with the arm), but no break... so it is either muscular or nerve.
Either case, this is the most pain that I can ever remember being in.
I stubbornly am, my friend... just slow in the creation of work right now, but still digging and trying!
Sounds like a Nerve Conduction Study and, yep, they've do that at least once a year for me to monitor the lack of response in my legs and lower extremities. Like your left arm, that is how my right leg is... and though they say I have almost no feeling in it, there are days where I can feel a constant burning itch in a couple of the toes and the feeling as though someone punched the inside of my right thigh...
I am fortunate that I am still able to walk on my own two feet and not stuck in a wheelchair (yet) like the character Brent Chambers in the next game is, but I know that someday the walker and rollator won't be of use for me any longer... but I will stubbornly keep trying.
I would go and get the test done again, my friend, but have a different doctor this time... if it is as fucked as you say, you should have it reported that it is, so that you can get some help, like I get... rehab does help, as does being with others going through similar things... it is good to have a network of people to help support you so that you don't feel so alone or broken.
Thanks for the well wishes and hope that you are able to find and get the same!!
