Yeah, the wife doesn't want me to push myself too much right now... so will be heading back to the couch in a few minutes and try to behave, lest I incur her wrath. :D
Wise, remember she can take you right now and not hard for her to guess where it will hurt most, not even talking of the option to mix sedatives into your food. :p

is the patreon version click and play? or will I have to do all this mod extract crap with that too?
You have to download and extract the game first.
Then go into the game folder and look for the application file and double click it to run the game.

There is no modification involved with extracting the game onto your computer.

Hopefully this will help. Illustrated for using F95... and I used Wicked Choices: Book I as the example as I already posted it there first.

UPDATE: Prologue Game & Heath Status – July 1, 2020
(as posted on our Patreon Page)

Well, that time of week again and the last vestiges of June slipped past me before I even realized it.

I was able to get my shot last Wednesday and after a couple of days of pain, I am back up and doing much better.

I, thankfully, have feeling in my ass and testicles again and if I had to do a scale of 1 to 10 on pain levels, I can say that I am now down to a 2 or 3… which is much, much better of where I was at before the shot!

My hope is it lasts till October, then I will get my last remaining shot (you can only get 3 shots a year of this stuff) and I will have avoided surgery for the year and if that last shot can last another four months, that puts me into a new year and can avoid surgery longer.

While I spent the few days of the shot and, I made the decision to extend the game’s scene featuring Heaven Studio’s “Ayame Sawada” from their game “Alansya Chronicles: Fleeting Iris”… while in its original state was good, you could tell that it was a little rushed, as I was trying to meet a deadline that I ended up missing anyway… so, might as well, extend it so that it didn’t feel as rushed.

As a result, the scene will now have a 3-part animation for it totaling 540 images and I only have 220 images left to render and the animation for her scene will be done. Since I am doing SO MUCH BETTER health-wise, I should have those 220 images knocked out by tomorrow (Thursday)… then I need to finish the tweaks needed for the remaining planned animation of the other character and all of the animation will be DONE.

Package everything up and off to the programmer and I can get back to work on finishing Chapter Two.

The thing is… while it may not look it from your perspective, things ARE getting done and I really do appreciate everyone that has stuck around, supported us and let us do things as needed.

Well, time for me to get back to rendering… just wanted to let you know where things stood, how I was doing physically and keep you updated as best I could.

Talk soon and hope that you all have a good weekend and to those in the States, a very HAPPY & SAFE 4th of July!!

Glad it worked well, how are you doing with the physio though? That could be even more important in the long run. Looking forward to the naughty nun when it is her time. :p

Update: Not doing THAT again!! – July 13, 2020
(as posted on our Patreon Page)

I’ve discovered that coming up with creative ideas while on heavy doses of pain killers, is likely not as good of an idea as I thought it was…

A really GOOD example of this fact would be the idea of creating three sets of animation to playout in Ayame’s scene… each set of animation came out to be 180 frames of animation which came out to be 540 renders that not only needed to be assembled properly to work, but each image needed (as always when it comes to those who care about their renders and presentation) editing in photoshop.

That problem was only compounded by the fact that the entire scene has a ton of transparencies and reflections in it… windows, shower glass walls, reflective shower tiles, bathroom mirror… yeah, not only did the programmer groan when I told him that we would be doing 540 frames of animation, my computer groaned while trying to render the 3 scenes!

What I thought could be rendered out, edited and assembled in one week, really, turned into almost 3… a situation that was further hampered by needing to take time out after getting the steroid injection shot in my spine…

BUT that stuff is DONE NOW and while it was a serious pain-in-the-BUTT, I think the scene looks hot as hell and should be pretty fappable!!

Not only are fans of Ayame Sawada from “Alansya Chronicles: Fleeting Iris” going to get to see their lovely heroine in 3D, but also going to get to see her in action through 540 frames of animation!!

But… yeah… won’t be making a habit of that…

Speaking of HABITS… this week, I need to finish adjusting and rendering out Sister Katarina’s sex animation scene… I need to alter it a bit, as that too was designed and conceived while on pain killers… so, going to adjust it some so that I can get this damn Prologue Chapter One REMASTER done and out sometime this century!!

I am just thankful that I am nearly finished with this thing and that the majority of you said it was OK for me to refrain from doing more animations till I could afford the equipment need to make the task much quicker, easier and better…

As such, I’d like to give a special thanks to PlanetMorpheus and JStar (our $100 patrons), as well as, the rest of you remaining to support us through all of this… we currently have $400 sitting in the kitty towards the equipment, still a ways away from what we need, but certainly much closer if not for Morph or JStar, so THANK YOU!!

Well, time to get back to work here… we have a game that needs to be getting into your hands ASAP and that isn’t going to happen if I keep jaw-jacking here.

Thank you again for all of your love and support and can’t wait till you see the results of all this work!!

Well you live and learn.:p For next time try to remember painkillers are drugs and making decisions when under the influence of those is about as smart as making important decisions when dead drunk, you will always pay for it afterwards. :ROFLMAO:

Still nice you are making progress and also thanks to Morph and Jstar. Unfortunately I have to watch my finances atm or would be helping out a bit, but have to keep it at current patreon.

Yeah, I don't drink except maybe a beer or two to be social (before the virus), because of the meds that I sometimes have to take it is better to not drink at all... but, yeah, it really seemed like a good idea at the time and looks pretty cool, but not going to do that again.

As for patronage, I will NEVER ask anyone to give more than they can or want... nor would I ever want to put someone at risk by trying to afford something that they can't... you're one of my longest and oldest supporters DA22 that level of dedication, friendship and support is NEVER overlooked by me. ;)

AS far as I am concerned, you and I will be friends longer than any game support. Love you, my friend!

Haven't we said before, that you are a workaholic?:devilish:

It seems to me, even your PC is a workaholic.:ROFLMAO:

You are repeating yourself now much to much. We already know that you are a workaholic.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

First suprise for me here. I've thinked that it would come something like: "I also have three long animation scene to do for sister Katarina." Now I'm really disappointed here.:LOL:

Nice to here it. I'm hopping to raise my support to you someone in this summer, but first I need it for myself.:p
And be assured I only doing it so that you have more reason to do that wallpaper for me without myself to use some kitty eyes again.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nice to see you're fight your way to the next release. And also nice to see you and your family is well during this chaotic times.
Also thanks to PlanetMorpheus and JStar.

UPDATE: Still Grinding, Progress and Processes… July 27, 2020
(as posted on our Patreon Page)

Hey everyone, I want to try to keep this as short as possible so that I can get back to work and finish this chapter up… I am so close to being done that I can taste it and really don’t want to lose the downhill momentum that I have going for me right now.

Currently, after a meeting and discussion with the guys, this is how the release schedule looks…

First week or two of August, the release of the Remastered Chapter One.

Last part of August (maybe the first week of September) the release of Chapter Two for everyone.

First part of October the release of Chapter Three

By then, without the extensive work of doing animations and keeping the releases down in size (like I did originally with “Wicked Choices: Book One”), I should be back to my regular release schedule of ONCE A MONTH which should be achievable till the end of the Prologue to “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” that will last for 6 to 7 chapters.

After that, things should need a few tweaks to the schedule and some adjustments, as that will take us to the semi-open sandbox of the game, which means a new process for us to learn and adapt to…

…speaking of processes… part of the reason why I am so off kilter with this release was because I thought I came up with a WONDERFUL idea while on the painkillers and waiting for the shot that I got for my back three weeks ago…

Normally, the process of creation for me has been this…

  • Create a bullet point rough of every event to happen in that chapter release.
  • Write out the scenes and dialogue, while arranging the sets, characters, clothing and poses to be used.
  • Begin to assemble them and render the images out according to the written scenes.
  • Do the post work on the images rendered in Photoshop.
  • Assemble the writing and image numbers in Twine and present them to the editor (Sierra3) and the programmer (Epadder).
BUT… while on pain killers, I had the crazy idea that I could save time by doing it this way…

  • Create a bullet point rough of every event to happen in that chapter release.
  • Arrange the sets, characters, clothing and poses to be used.
  • Assemble everything and start rendering.
  • Do the post work on the images rendered in Photoshop and do the writing and dialogue to the rendered scenes.
  • Assemble the writing that I just completed and the images rendered into Twine and present them to the editor and programmer.
Never mind the fact that also while coming up with this crazy scheme, that I also decided to do 540 frames of animation… all while on pain killers… one thing that I hadn’t taken into account while trying this process that I thought would be faster… is that sometimes a thought that a writer has isn’t as quickly expressed as they think it will be till it is written…

…so, thinking that just rendering all of the scenes and THEN writing to those scenes would be quicker, wasn’t… as suddenly, I found that I had to go back and expand the number of renders for that scene… which not only screwed up the idea that this would be FASTER, but now it also screwed up the numbering of the scenes... which could lead to confusion on the part of the programmer…

For example, normally the numbering of the images in the folder and in Twine works like this…

Ayame001.png

Ayame002.png

Ayame003.png

And if there is a side by side image (like a comic book panel) …

Ayame004a.png

Ayame004b.png

Ayame005.png

Nice crisp and easy to follow… normally.

But this time around, because of my stupid idea of rendering everything first and just writing to the images rendered, I found myself unable to fully express the situation of a particular scene or character experience and had to quickly add a few more renders… so now we have image numbering and file structure all messed up…

I really made a mess of things this month because I thought I was being clever and could be faster doing it this way and it WASN’T faster, in fact, if anything, it is MORE CONFUSING and required me to go back and change some of the already done renders, render new ones and inject them into the right place among the ones already rendered and try to do so without renaming over 1000 images!

So, Jack coming up with REALLY GREAT ideas while on painkillers… NOT-SO-GREAT and the reason why things are behind as much as they are is because of ME!

For which, I apologize, but the good news is that I almost have everything fixed and should be out of my hands soon and Epadder thinks he can make sense of the mess that I created without much trouble but to NOT DO THAT AGAIN!

So, I won’t do that again… just going to stick to my regular format of doing things and just do my job right.

Sorry to all of you and to Sierra3 and Epadder who are getting a mess to sort out and work with this time… it WON’T happen again.

So much for keeping this short too… *sigh* …I can’t wait till I’ve fully pulled my head out of my ass and get back on track with things the right way… this release has been FUBAR from the start, kind of like me.

But, at least now you all know where things stand, the reason for the meeting (my fault, my fault) and how we intend to get back on track and get back to doing regular releases for everyone.

Sorry again for my screw up and if anyone hears me say: “Hey, I have a really GREAT idea…” while I am on painkillers, do us all a favor and smack the sh*t out of me… please… you’ll save us all a headache by doing so!!

Now, I need to get back to work and finish this stuff off… talk soon.

Well we have all been there that we tried something new either as an own idea or at behest of some person that holds the purse strings that in the end was not as efficient or productive as imagined. :p Just try to relax, stop beating yourself up (kicking yourself once is healthy, but keep kicking yourself is not useful or nice unless you are a masochist :p) and concentrate on moving forward even if it feels hard at times.
