UPDATE: Pearl… the Jewel of the Commonwealth – January 15, 2022

Hello everyone, sorry that this update (like the last few) is tardy; things over here have been… difficult… but we are still hard at work and making gains!
There will be a lot to cover here, so grab something to drink and let’s jump right into it…
PEARL: OUR FALLOUT 4 FOLLOWER MOD
Despite my current health conditions, in which I will update you (or those who are interested) on shortly, we’ve been hard at work here working on the
EXPANSIVE Follower Mod for Bethesda’s
Fallout 4 game.
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve fully accomplished coming up with a viable story and believable way to introduce the world of “
Wicked Choices” into the universe of
Fallout 4.
While the war between the Angelions and Demonothans seems to at least be on hold ‘following total atomic annihilation’… however, all of that is about to change when the ‘Institute’ is able to get their hands on Demonothan technology that had laid buried beneath radioactive dust in an old Crawford Industries lab.
With the aid of Pearl, the daughter of a Brotherhood of Steel paladin who had lost faith after both Elder Lyons lost their lives, you… the
SOLE SURVIVER… will have to work with
ALL of the people of the Commonwealth to try and get this Alien Technology back from the ‘Institute’ before it is too late!
As the
SOLE SUVERVIVOR (either as Nate or Nora), you will be treated to a really
INDEPTH story that ties the universes and histories of the
Fallout franchise and “
Wicked Choices”, in a format where
YOUR decisions and morality is going to matter in an action and choice-based RPG system.
Already, at the time of writing this
UPDATE for you, we have already completed the
ENTIRE and
INDEPTH background of the follower who will join you (the
SOLE SURVIVOR) on your mission throughout the Commonwealth…
Margarita ‘Pearl’ Vargas.
Pearl will join you, the
SOLE SURVIVOR, after you’ve helped her to deal with some personal stuff that involves her family in an
EXPANSIVE SERIAL QUEST that
WILL change the current ‘
VANILLA’ system and the pervious
ENDINGS of the
FALLOUT 4 game.
With her help, the two of you will embark on a journey that will not only create a much
RICHER and more
FULLFILLING ending to the
Fallout 4 game… but you will slowly uncover the mystery of what had been taken from the ‘Institute’ from the old ruins of Crawford Industries lab and take it back from the ‘Institute’ and keep the Brotherhood of Steel from acquiring or destroying it!
CURRENT PROGRESS:
As I said, we’ve already created a very
DETAILED,
BELIEVABLE story that blends the universe of “
Wicked Choices” into the existing and well-known universe of the
Fallout franchise (including the works and lore created by Interplay, Black Isle, Micro Forté, Obsidian and, of course, Bethesda).
We’ve also created the
ENTIRE backstory and history of
Margarita ‘Pearl’ Vargas, the follower who will not only
HELP you, but who will also need
YOUR help and will be completely
ROMANCABLE if you decide to pursue a relationship of that nature with her.
Along with her backstory, we’ve also figured out and created all of her stats that will help during the course of the game… not overpowered, not underpowered and scalable to your playstyle.
Additionally, at the time of writing this and as shown in the image above, sometime this week, I will have completely worked out all of her ‘
REACTIONS’ to the choices that you can make within the
VANILLA Fallout 4 storyline… which, let me tell you, there is A
LOT!!
Also, we’ve found and hired the person that will
VOICE and
PLAY the role of
PEARL…

JOSIE FOX who will be participating in this production!
Josie will
NOT ONLY be interacting with you, the player, but she will
ALSO be interacting with you as our supporters to this mod!
With her help, we have created a
VERY DETAILED business and marketing plan that will provide you will lots of swag and goodies, both within the game of
Fallout 4 and out of it… as a valued member of our team, you will not only be able to get to know more about the character of Pearl, but also about Josie the actress, model and team member of
ASLPro3D.
We have a
LOT of great plans that will totally redefine not just the
Fallout 4 game that many of you are familiar with but will also help to redefine the market of modding and creating games, as well as bring more value to you… the player and supporter of these games.
AS SUCH… in the next few weeks (and health permitting), we will be redesigning our Patreon Page to reflect the changes that we are going to be making and offering to you, our supporters.
Our previous works of “
Wicked Choices” will still be available to our supporters here, but our focus is also on expanding that universe in a format that will be more accessible, more interactive game-like and carry with it much more value and goodies for those who support us… both now and well into the future!
Now, let’s talk for a moment about the elephant in the room…
MY HEALTH…
Last Tuesday, I was able to get the second S-ESI shot into my spinal canal… two days before the State of Michigan announced that they would no longer be doing elective procedures and surgeries due to the rising infection rates of COVID-19 (Omicron) that has overtaxed our healthcare system that is seeing over 15,000 new cases a day and a 114% increase in hospitalizations.
I am in rough shape… there is no way that I can sugarcoat it.
Even with the ESI injection and under the influence of more painkillers than I really want to take, I am in a condition, both physically and emotionally, that has me wondering if it is worth it to keep hurting like this…
…a fact that is even more prevalent when situations of suddenly having your legs no longer working beneath you and you take a tumble across the floor or having to slide down steps on your butt after being helped up the stairs to just take a shower.
Even if I
WANTED to get surgery (which I do) to take the pressure off my disintegrating spine and the one bulging and other ruptured disc, I can’t… my situation isn’t considered life-threating to allow for it.
So, I need to wait.
Fortunately, with the change in direction to our “
Wicked Choices” universe by incorporating it into a pre-existing game system, complete with meshes, animations and graphic engine, my work only involves writing, plotting and scripting events for you the players… which can be done even while laying down or resting in a recliner and not sitting in a stiff-backed office chair all of the time.
So, I am at least able to work to some degree… and thanks to both Epadder, Sierra3, my wife and now, Josie, I know that I have skilled and talented people who will make sure that I don’t do something wildly stupid or come up far-reaching and impossible goals.
Though I am in rough shape and hurting every moment of every day, even while on painkillers, I am able to keep moving things forward for our Serial Follower Mod and introduce the world of “
Wicked Choices” to a much larger audience… hopefully bringing us the added support we need to complete our previous series that you’ve all been patiently wanting and waiting for… and much, much more.
