That joke was in bad taste. And no it was not obvious that it was a joke. That laughing emoji I saw as a spit in his face. I now know that it wasn't. My Brother Died 3 Mo. ago and he suffered just as Jack suffers today. I will always react in like kind when I see comments like that, joke or no joke. And you being an X'er still means. that you are younger than Us. Unless you suffered a catastrophic back injury you can't know what it is like. I have had two shattered vertebrae. I have shit and pissed myself having no control. So that joke was in the very worst of taste.

lemonfreak, yeah, I kind of knew that you were sort of ribbing me in your original statement and that it was said in jest... although, honestly, while it did cause a chuckle, it also still kind of stung... not because of what you said, so much as the fact that I feel that I've repeatedly, unavoidably have been disappointing my (our) fanbase repeatedly to the point where to those uncaring, would believe that my medical issues are just an excuse to 'milk' my (our) followers.

This is why, I go to great lengths not to hide who I am or my real name from anyone (unlike a lot of creators here or on Patreon) and why I've also posted the images of me in the hospital prior to surgery to prove to people that I am being honest with them.

Still, the thought that I am disappointing my (our) patrons and fans, it weighs really heavily on me and yltohawk (as well as his brother, Rick, before he passed a few months ago), being a close friend of mine, knows this and is quick to rush in my defense... and hates seeing me run myself into the ground or berate myself over my incompetence.

So, I ask that you please forgive him, and yltohawk, thank you for trying to defend me and for being a great friend, but time now for peace from everyone in this thread...

Please, I sincerely ask ANYONE, if you know of a good artist that has time, looking to make money, to please contact me... I really, really need to have an artist that can reliably produce artwork for our game(s) and save my health, but I also really, really need to make money too and want to get back to creating our games.

Got around to replaying the games and have been keeping tabs. I know what chronic health issues are like, and I'm willing to be there are others here as well. It is a minority of those that do not, that seem to have little patience. Your health is much more important than the entertainment of all.

UPDATE: A Fresh Start & New Beginnings… - March 12, 2022

Good day everyone and hope that this UPDATE finds you well, I have LOTS of GREAT news to share with you, so let’s get right to it…

While it is true that this past week has been spent preparing me for my back surgery which will take place this upcoming Thursday, March 17, 2022… we’ve also be VERY HARD AT WORK in more ways than one!

The BIGGEST reason for this would be that we’ve secured a talented artist for our games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, you read that right; we’ve got ourselves another artist, who… as you can see by the lead in photo to this update… has already been HARD AT WORK with us on our new game – “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”.

I’d like to introduce to you and welcome to our team: Nonsane!!

With Nonsane’s incredible help (and tutorage), we were able to complete the work that I had started with Xidcat on one of the main characters that you will get to play and control “Carley Chambers” (pictured above) in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”.

Even now, Nonsane is hard at work on creating Carley’s husband, “Brent Chambers” whom you will also get to play in control in our new game, as well as the many other characters that you will encounter and interact with in it.

This week, while I am not preparing to be cut open from the middle of my back to just above my tailbone, I will be working with Nonsane to finalize the character designs as he produces them and will be working with both Epadder and Sierra3 to get the outlines of the first couple of releases plotted out and begin the writing and twine files for the game.

Once more, we are BACK IN BUSINESS and will have a game out in your hands and once we’ve finished converting the other characters and have established a dependable, good workflow we’ll finish this game and get back to completing “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” and the remaining books of “Wicked Choices”.

UPDATE: More Carley Chambers and “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” – March 12, 2022

Once again, thank you so much for your dedication, your continued support, as well as your interest in Carley Chambers and the story of “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”.

Before we get right down to the nudes of Carley Chambers, let’s get you acquainted with both her and the story first.

Q: What is “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”?

“Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” or “WC:BC” for short will take place in Garnet City, New York during the events that will unfold in “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma”.

This story will introduce a whole new set of characters into the “Wicked Choices” universe and you will also run into some familiar characters from both “Wicked Choices: Book One” and some from “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma”

Q: So, what is the story about?

“Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” will be a multi-protagonist (erotic, obviously) game where you will be assuming the husband-and-wife roles of Brent & Carley Chambers.

One day, while on lunch from work, Brent Chambers was struck by a car while crossing the street.

The driver of the car fled the scene and the police are still looking for the person responsible, but… after multiple surgeries on his back and spine, Brent manages to survive the accident and is unfortunately partially paralyzed from the waist down and faces the possibility of having to live the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

To try and afford the medical expenses and the fact that he can no longer work his job, Brent and his wife, Carley, decided to sell their home and move to Garnet City, New York.

Using the money from the sale of their home, Brent and Carley pay a year in advance on the apartment and Carley wanting to try and stay ahead of their bills, decides to take part-time work until such time when the person responsible for hitting Brent with their car can be found by the police and they can sue for insurance.

Depressed that he is no longer able to feel much below his waist anymore and must spend a lot of time going to physical therapy to try and learn to walk again, Brent worries also that he will no longer be a good husband for his wife and able to take care of her sexual needs…

…so, one night, after the two of them try unsuccessfully to have sex together, Brent tells Carley that maybe it would be best if she was to find someone else who could maybe satisfy her sexually.

While Carley assures Brent that she only has eyes for him and that she needs no one else… she can’t help but notice that there are many guys and women who would like Carley to change her mind about that… and the slow corruption of Carley begins, with her husband Brent, watching to see what will happen.

It will be up to YOU, the players of the game, to decide who will get to 'Bed Chambers'.

Q: The storyline for the game sounds kind of close to the current situation that you described about your back…

While not really a question, more like an observation, I’d tell you that you are correct in that observation… after all, WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW (or at least base it on such).

In my case, YES, the storyline, while not the cause of my back problems (which is likely genetic), the premise behind the story is based from experience; of what it is like to be in pain, what it is like to not have a lot of feeling below the waist, what it is like to feel like you are unable to sexually please your wife and… what it is like to gather the courage it takes to suggest a possible alternative so that she can get that pleasure.

Like all of my work, I sat and talked with my wife about my plans for this game title and storyline, as well as my plans to design the wife character to look quite a bit like her (those who’ve seen my wife can attest to this), the only concern she had and expressed was that I not use our real names for the characters and to be mindful, still, that those that we know personally may see it.

So, yes, your observation would be correct.

Q: So, is this game just going to be a corrupt the woman and make her a slut game?

No!! No, no, no!!!

While that possibility will be possible for Carley and the players who want that, that is NOT the GOAL of this game or story!

This game is NOT going to be an INSTANT SLUT game, where in the first release Carley will drop to her knees for any guy she encounters (with the exception of her husband, Brent), that’s not very realistic and, as I said, it is partially based on our own experiences and my wife isn’t that way… so neither will Brent’s wife be that way!

Instead, this game is going to deal with the very real prospect of wife sharing, wife swapping (both SOFT and HARD swap), Polyamory, as well as all of the complications, emotions and ramifications that can come from it.

Players will be able to make the decisions for both Brent and Carley of just how far things will go and they both will have to grow and evolve throughout the process. Either they will decide that this is not for them, will decide that this is good for their relationship… or it can destroy their relationship by your choices.

Q: Is the wife, Carley, going to be the only one that is shared in the game?

No… even Brent can be involved and participate with other characters. And, like Carley, it can either be done openly with Carley’s knowledge, or… also like with Carley… can be done behind her back.

It will be up to you, what either will share with the other… whether it is truth, lies or unknown encounters.

Q: This sounds like it is going to be a BIG game, why can’t you just forget about this game and jump right into doing “Wicked Choices” or “Agents of Karma”?

It is going to be as BIG of game as it needs to be, until we feel that we are able to return to “Agents of Karma” and then “Wicked Choices: Book Two”.

The reason for this, is because both “Wicked Choices: Book One” and “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” was done entirely in Poser using both Michael and Victoria 4 characters, props, clothing, accessories and locations… it is going to take a GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME to convert over 130 characters to Genesis 8 characters, outfits, locations and stuff.

Plus, this gives us the opportunity to build a solid working relationship with Nonsane (as well as Xidcat when he returns) and develop a really good workflow that produces a HIGH-QUALITY product in a timely fashion for all of our patrons.

Once we feel that we’ve established that and we have a significant amount of product converted, we will phase out “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” and return to doing and finishing “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma”.

Q: How soon till we see the first release of “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”?

We don’t think it will be that long… already, we’ve plotted out the first two releases and I will be plotting out a few more, then I will begin the task of writing the releases while Nonsane continues to create and finalize the characters, crafts the Sprites and assembles the locations that the story will take place in.

Plus, we have to consider the back surgery that I will be undergoing in 5 days… I am going to need time to heal up from that as well.

I’d like to say a month or two, depending on how well my recovery is and how well we are producing product together, after all: Nonsane also has his own patrons that he has to continue to look after and take care of as well.

Be assured, though, we will keep all of you in the LOOP like normal and tempt you with lots of updates, goodies and stuff to help pass the time.

Q: Does this mean that you will no longer be doing the Fallout 4 mod “Wicked Choices: Pearl of the Commonwealth”?

Nope, we will still be doing “Wicked Choices: Pearl of the Commonwealth” for Fallout 4… seeing as that I am only the writer for that production, as well as just the writer and renderer for “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” I won’t be stretching myself too thin and can easily work on both.

Additionally, we have a much easier time and greater pool of resources to draw from in the event that we need to bring another programmer onboard to help Epadder out.
