I have only one demand regarding the city environment. I just don't know how resonable of a demand it is, sohere it is anyway:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Please if at all possible corect the french gramar error and remove the E at the end of Française. restaurant is masculine in french so it does not need the e at the end of français since the two words go together. Also Who the fuck names a pastry shop blue lobster? (literal translation of the name of the shop) And also a shop witch sells pastry and viennoiseries in french would be caled a boulangerie or bakery in english. Now I must stop talking about all that is wrong with this asset or I'll go truely mad. Anyway the asset need an update. I don't know just put a garbage can or some passer by in front of the rightings or something.

Lets just say that this asset make it realy easy to spot indy devs without a french speaking memeber on their team.
Honestly, never really thought about adding a 'French' Restaurant (or pastry shop) in our game's city... I do know that I do have a regular one (diner), a cafe shop (like the usual overused one in other games), a regular bar and a strip bar... but I think that is about it.

In our case, I think our story is going to be packed with so much stuff taking place to/with and for the characters that locations are just going to be centerpieces to the story and events happening to them and not so much a location to repeatedly visit. If they do become playable places to visit, it will likely be done as areas where random events (outside of main storyline) can sometimes occur at specific times of the day... however, I assure you that should I choose to use that specific location in our game, I will definitely change the name of it and fix that error. ;)

Thank you verry much.

This asset is something that always bother me in games but that I can't hold against developers as when you don't understand a language there is very litle you can do to corect this kind of mistake and as a leyman I don't grasp how much such an ask is. From what I understood not all assets are easy to modify.

Easy, not always... but still able to do when it only requires changing or removing text from a texture file. ;)

Hahah thank you for that! Every time I see stuff like that it triggers me a bit :p But I understand most pre-baked assets, not much can be done.
If Jack ever needs (for whatever reason) french correction he can poke me too. It's my main language. And I would never go eat at a Pastry shop referencing seafood in the name, like wtf.
And even for a seafood restaurant, why name it Blue Lobster... like, is it uncooked??

Soon-ish. ;)
Like. Like today for my Bday? :sneaky:

Maybe (probably) I missed it, but this could use a disclaimer that it's currently more of a visual novel than a game.

I kept waiting to be done with the unbelievably long, game-controlled exposition so that I could begin with the meat of the game. Instead, I read a ton, had the illusion of choice 3 or 4 times, and when I got to the point that I thought, "Yes! Finally! The game!" the prologue was over. Book One was amazing though, so I have high hopes for when this is no longer On Hold.

How constructive...

The literal first sentence in my post was that I likely missed the notation and didn't realize it. I don't frequent the website often, and the variety of tags, prefixes, etc., is overwhelming. I utilize thread search to find content. because of the array of combinations. I outright acknowledged that lack of know-how immediately.

In any case - I need to use more specific language, but I'm not sure what fits best. I used the phrase visual novel descriptively; the "player" is mostly clicking-along with the content rather than actively engaging with and affecting it. I intended to use the term in contrast to interactive fiction, where it's still a rich storytelling environment, but the player choices are plentiful and actively affect the game. Book One had the latter, while this has the former; they are tagged the same, however. I wish that were not the case.

VNs have varying degrees of choice. Some have minor choices that only lead to flavor text but they are still VNs. What Book one was doing was quite ambitious as far trying to give choices that had impact on what you see and make some elements quite different. The problem is that complexity also grows exponentially. a simple choice of 2 options that "matter" with 10 of those in game make for 1024 outcomes. So ultimately unless you have a Bioware staff at your disposal, something has to give. It is simply reality. So as he had more health issues putting more barriers in the way of completing "anything" it makes sense to limit the divergence and therefore the resultant differences.

I am not truly trying to sound as harsh as I might have, by the way. I am a SMARTASS often and 60-70% I am dripping with sarcasm. So ignore any slight of mine as meaningless drivel meant to amuse myself more than anything.

It is not a kinetic novel AFAIK, so as both are visual novel aka text with picture and choice they are tag the same.
This is as the title say a prolog and as you could see from the changelog it has 3 release, thus it isn't a suprise that this one have a lot less content than book 1. That and cause of Jacks health

So, how would like to have that one tagged - according to the current F95 tags/prefix options?
Don't see how that could be tagged otherwise.

I do see it a lot like jaw1986baby. It is tagged/prefixed as VN (visual novel), it is not a kinectic novel . The amount of choice, the length of the game and so one, don't have a specific tag, so this is what you have and that doesn't change....

For me you're more unhappy with the length and size of the game than with the tags. I can understand that and we all would want to havea bigger game, but until either Jack get miraculously better or get the help of an artrist, we need to live with what we have.

So ultimately unless you have a Bioware staff at your disposal, something has to give.
No, then you only have a different coloured ending with either strawberry or lemon flavour.:ROFLMAO::devilish:

Sorry that I am late to the party here in responding ObsceneConundrum, been juggling work, real life stuff and working on getting the "Wicked Choices Extra" done and prepping for the new game. :(

I can certainly understand what you are trying to say, when it came to the difference between our first game and this prologue intro of characters for "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma"... and, while it may not seem like it to you, just by playing it... the choices that you made in it was certainly on the way to changing the outcome of the story.

While most players are used to seeing 'instant' implications to the choices that they make in a lot of games, in our own games we like to utilize the choices that players make to outcomes that can affect the game much further along in the story, than instantly at times.

For example: *SPOILER ALERT* (don't read this if you don't want part of "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma" storyline revealed to you)

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

So, while... to you and others... it may not have seemed very much like a game because things weren't instantly changing the sequence of events in the current playthrough of the story, it was CERTAINLY changing the outcome of the entire game that would follow.... just from what you perceived to be inconsequential choices that you felt didn't matter in the story. ;)

Just for the record, there were also similar choices that you made in "Wicked Choices: Book One" that were hidden and will GREATLY change the story in "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers", "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma", as well as the remaining story in "Wicked Choices: Book Two & Three"... choices that can't be reset unless you go back to the first game and change some of your answers/replies.

When I first embarked on this crazy journey of creating these games, I have always tried to be quite clear with everyone that what I intended to do with our games was make it where the choices REALLY mattered and would REALLY change the outcome of the story's ending (unlike Bio-Ware's "Mass Effect" game).

To do this, sometimes the choices that you make in the very first game (or even a simple prologue such as this one), no matter how little they may seem to you or have little effect in the present time, can and possibly will change the entire story that hasn't even been created yet or played by you.

Likewise, for me, I also need to keep everything organized (hence the multiple notebooks of notes sitting near my monitor here) so that even if a person doesn't play (for example) "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers" (or any of the others) that the player isn't severely punished for not having played that game and made the choices within that game that will also affect the outcome of the final game of "Wicked Choices: Book Three"...

...it is a LOT of work and, yeah, would certainly hope that by some point in the future that I actually have more help in our creative process than just Me, Epadder, Sierra3 and my wife, because trying to keep everything organized, story wise, doing the artwork, writing and keeping story continuity is freaking exhausting! ;)

Hope that helps to better explain things for you (and others who thought the same as you)... with our games, you may never know just how much a simple choice will matter to the final product and outcome... but, well, isn't that sort of just like life? :sneaky:

Sadly, they HAD the staff and STILL all we got was a lousy ending that only changed the color of the scenes being played out and a slightly altered epilogue of spoken lines... truly an embarrassment if you ask me. Not to mention, a HUGE disappointment to me as someone who played the entire series.

Is this game back,Rather is this game getting updates again?. It has been a while.
I've been providing constant updates as to what's been happening... I never disappeared.

But if you mean, updates by way of game releases, then not just yet... but very, very soon... but, if you want to know what they are, please, scroll back some and check out some of the updates that I've posted here or visit our Patreon page... all of our updates are free for people to read and aren't behind a paywall... the only stuff behind the paywall is NSFW artwork that we can't post publicly... but usually do post in these threads here for free.

In between updates are there any other similar stories which involve transformation?. Cheers to your hard work.

UPDATE: Looking Out for Your Family… – October 14, 2022
(As posted on our Patreon Page)

Hello everyone, hope that you all are doing well and have had a good couple of weeks.

Things around here have been kind of ‘off kilter’ due to helping the family, who are now back safe in their homes and things are cleaned up in their area of Florida and it has been an exciting time over here getting ready for winter and stuff.

Before we get into all of that, let’s talk about the game and its status for all of you…

Due to things beyond my control, the last couple of weeks has had me focusing on the storytelling part of the game (since I was unable to do ‘porn’), I had to focus on things that wouldn’t have people freaking out on me too much.

During that time, I spent some time talking with Epadder, Sierra3 and the wife about “Wicked Choices Extra: Michelle & Claire – A Day at the Pond” and its storyline… the scene takes place in the original “Wicked Choices: Book One” just before Claire seduces the Antichrist (you the player)… and, at the same time that Claire is spending time with Michelle at the pond, there is an event that was originally done for Chapter Two of the Prologue to “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma”…

Hope you are still following me, because it can be pretty confusing, I guess…

Anyway, the event that was to happen and be shown in “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” is a VERY IMPORTANT event that GREATLY affects the characters and the player’s missions in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”, “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” and “Wicked Choices: Book Two” and that involves Dr. Caitlin McLeish and her kids, Kacee and Kealan (shown above) and Daryl Crawford Jr.

As Brent or Carley Chambers in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” it will be up to you if you want to help rescue Caitlin and her kids from the evil machinations of Daryl Crawford Jr., while as Emi Fuwa or Claire Crawford-Davies in “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” the players can work to take down Daryl Crawford Jr.’s organization and evil plans to wrestle control of the Crawford family and businesses away from the Antichrist, who will be dealing with Daryl Crawford Jr. himself (and a certain someone else helping him) in “Wicked Choices: Book Two”!

Also, as I said, in my last update here… everything that is taking place in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” is also happening at the SAME TIME that things are happening in “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” and “Wicked Choices: Book Two” with you, as the Antichrist, dealing the final blow in that game.

In those three games, starting with “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” you will see the events and situations playing out from different [player] character’s perspectives, see firsthand how your choices in one game are going to affect the events and outcomes in the other two games and how the entire situation and story all meshes together, as well as see that the Antichrist is not fighting this uphill battle alone!

Rather than bouncing across the timelines, I figured it would be best to add the introduction scene of Daryl Crawford Jr., the Antichrist’s brother-in-law, and Dr. Caitlin McLeish into “Wicked Choices Extra: Michelle & Claire – A Day at the Pond”, since it happens at the same time that Michelle and Claire are having their fun and it will fully set the stage for the next three games, starting with “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”.

So, since I couldn’t do much porn around here due to certain situations, I spent the last two weeks, recreating the characters that were to make their appearance (originally) at the start of “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” to make their appearance in this “Wicked Choices Extra” game instead.

Doing so, has been exciting and a bit mind-blowing… as I can really see the difference in the work and abilities that I’ve gained learning Daz Studio versus what I had been doing in Poser originally…

For example… here is a scene that was to be in Chapter Two of the Prologue to “Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma” featuring Dr. Caitlin McLeish and her secretary, Suzanne Fleming….

nmp02_0021.png

And now here is how they will look in our new game “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” and in Daz Studio!!

Suzanne_001.png
Caitlin_001.png

Such a massive difference and I am really happy with the progress that I’ve made in the seven months that I’ve been using and learning Daz Studio!

Also, I for our patrons, I’ve posted some additional wallpaper pin-ups of the new characters (in Character Spotlight) that will be appearing in the new “Wicked Choices Extra” release coming out soon that will show off the characters and their traits that you can experience in the upcoming “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers” which will come out following the release of the “Wicked Choices Extra” release.

You can tell when things returned back to normal around here at home, while viewing some of them. *wink*

Anyhow, time for me to finish this up and let you go, I am going to try and have this new section done and added by the end of this weekend if possible and will update you all again soon!

Take care and, as always, thanks for you continued support and hope that you are as excited as we are over here!

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: Dr. Caitlin McLeish & Family – October 14, 2022
(As posted behind our Patreon Paywall)

Dr. Caitlin McLeish:

Accomplished and brilliant, Dr. Caitlin McLeish once worked for the Research & Development section of Crawford Industries, when she overextended her reach beyond what Crawford Industries could go and had her employment terminated by that company.

Seeing a protentional in Doctor Caitlin, Daryl Crawford Jr. blackmails and rehires her without his family’s knowledge and approval to work on a project that will help him to gain his position in the family back from his brother-in-law (the Antichrist) to once more gain the control over his family and business like it should’ve always been!

Fearing the safety of her family and kids, Dr. Caitlin McLeish has no choice but to do the bidding of Daryl Crawford Jr., will her and her family ever find someone willing to save them from Daryl Crawford Jr.’s evil plans?

That will be up to you in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”!

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Son and daughter of Dr. Caitlin McLeish, both are unwittingly the objects and pawns of control that Daryl Crawford Jr. holds over their mother, Caitlin.

Although the twins are both 18 years of age, both children are certifiable geniuses and have the scholastic acuity of holding PHD’s like their mother but due to their lack of upbringing among other kids and people they are socially inexperienced, wide-eyed, pliable and naïve… in both communication and sexuality.

Both of the twins hold an important key to the future, but will you be able communicate with them enough to find out what that is?

That will be up to you in “Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers”!

Kacee McLeish:

Although socially inept, Kacee believes that she’s learned through the many books and manga that she likes to read and anime that she’s watched, that boys tend to like girls who are ‘tsundere’ towards them, she is aware of her sexuality and isn’t afraid to flirt or provide ‘quick glimpses’ if only to harass the person soon after for peeking…

…getting close to her is going certainly going to be an exercise in patience and will likely require a lot of aspirin on hand.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Kealan McLeish:

Perhaps even more inept than his sister, Kacee, Kealan has spent a lot of time reading the manga and anime his sister likes to pick out for him to read or watch. As such, Kacee’s twin brother has been molded to be subservient in nature and through such anime works that include characters such as ‘Tetra’ from ‘Log Horizon’, ‘Gasper’ from ‘High School DxD’, ‘Fisheye’ from ‘Sailor Moon SuperS’, ‘Saika Totsuka’ from Oregairu and ‘Ruka Urushibara’ From ‘Steins; Gate’ that men may be confused but also attracted to a boy that will dress as a girl…

…meaning that he might be able to get whoever falls in love with his sister to fall in love with him too, so that he will never be apart from her!

You will be able to see him get his due, that's for sure and yes, he will be making appearances in "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers" and "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma"... though in those appearances you won't be controlling him and he is doing his own thing in them.

Yes, there is a character in "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers" that will involve transformation... but it depends on whether the player wishes to encourage the character to go that far or not.
