That's kinda what I had in mind for when book 1 is finished, but we'll see it's still a bit of time left to work on that part

EDIT: Also there seems to be an issue at the start of Chapter 2. Where I named my character differently but it changed back to Mike at the start. :O
Yeah, sadly you can see the level of editing that my $2,000.00 paid for... strange how I paid for an editor for the novel and for my game I get better editing for free... *sigh*
I know with my next novel, I am going to find me a better editor... glad that you enjoyed the story! I can't believe you already read 470 pages in just a couple of days!! I can see I am going to have to write a whole lot more if I am going to keep you busy, in the future!
Yeah, was kind of confused, as I thought we had removed that stuff...
We were thinking of that... and there is a part of me that wants to do a "MARVEL" style ending for the entire game.
So make sure all of the credits are stripped out except for at the very end of the last chapter and then roll credits at the end of the last chapter and game, then after the credits have a snippet preview of the next game or something... sort of like a "bonus" scene...
Not sure yet, how I want to do it.

Funny (in a sense) how things like that work.
As long as the book/story keeps me interested, I can easily read 150-200 pages in a day (and still remember what I read), time permitting.I know with my next novel, I am going to find me a better editor... glad that you enjoyed the story! I can't believe you already read 470 pages in just a couple of days!! I can see I am going to have to write a whole lot more if I am going to keep you busy, in the future!

That's odd X_x You sure you have v0.5.2.0 installed? And you didn't have some old .rpy / .rpyc files in the game folder which you might have extracted with unren.bat or un.rpyc? Because then you should've actually got a scene after loading the savegame which asks you some questions about the game and the routes you took to set the variables again..... hmmmm could you perhaps send me the savegame where that odditiy occurs? Damn, I think I might know why that happened..... god damn looks like this will happen again to everyone :'( I'm starting to hate ren'pys save/load rollback shit system and the way it treats objects... tried a change in my script someone suggested and seems like that was the fault... so it actually didn't save your name in the right place....
I'll upload a small scripts fix tomorrow but you'll either have to restart the game again or you continue playing now until you hit the end of chapter 5 part 1 (So at the beginning of chapter 5 part 2 you'd stop) so that you get asked some questions on what you chose up to that point, or you wait for the fix and start over again.... sorry. :'(

Wicked Choices v0.6.0.0 Update!! (August 21, 2018)

Without the black, looming cloud of me possibly having the “BIG C” hovering over our heads over here, we’ve been steadily working this past week and finally finishing up the first of two acts for the finale of “Wicked Choices: Book One” and I am pretty pleased with how things are turning out with it!
It is hard to believe that we, along with many of you, have undertaken this entire journey together for a full year now!
This entire year has gone by super-fast and has been almost surreal with everything that has transpired, from starting out with just my wife and I trying to do everything ourselves, from Palanto (thankfully) coming on board to help and become a part of our company, to weathering Patreon’s culling, to kidney stones, to the last 7 or 8 months of being injected, inspected, poked and prodded to determine if I have cancer… it has been an interesting journey!
But… WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED!!
The story of “Wicked Choices” has only really just begun and, with this last chapter to “Book One”, the universe will have been fully established, as well as, your mission… which will continue very, very soon!!
You now know most of the main characters, you know what you are faced against, you’ve finally awakened to your powers and, in this last chapter, you will finally be using those powers to decide the sort of person you are going to be!
Once we complete the “side-arc” game of “Wicked Choices: Adventures of a Changed Boy”, you can expect us to have a great understanding of the new game software, you’ll have the familiarity of how everything will work within the game, know all of the places you will be able to visit and will have met some of the new characters and NPC’s that you can interact with and use to power up… or join your harem of toys to use in the coming war that will start up in “Wicked Choices: Book Two”.
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited that we are about the future here!!

well sadly it's not just the immersion... it's again every choice you made and so on didn't get stored in the correct place... which means all things you chose are lost one way or another...

Alright... didn't sleep much but it looks like it's fixed (at least it works on my end) @godotccf would you be so kind to test the patch with your last savegame if you get the "fix scene" and if after another save / load the name is still correct?
need to change some things so chapter 5 part 2 is included in the patching process (which it isn't yet) so all choices you did in chapter 5 part 2 are currently still lost with this patch, that's why it's only a pc version now and not for all versions.

So far it's ok then. It fixed the naming issues, and I can always speedrun through Chapter 5.

Yes you can, but sadly most people think it's an "annoyance" so I'll try to fix the bugged savegames with this "questionaire" now all that's left is to add a question which chapter you finished last and adding the stuff for chapter 5 part 2.

p.S.: Hopefully you didn't "overwrite" your old save
Because the next patch will be the "real" 0.5.2.1 which wouldn't work on the last save you just made If you did overwrite your save let me know, then I'll do a special small fix for you so you can use the real patch after that
