JaszMan82, truly, "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers" and "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma" was meant to happen, but it was all going to be tied into and happening in "Wicked Choices: Book Two"... but after doing the first game and seeing the confusion that people were having bouncing between playing as the Antichrist and Princess Lynara, I needed to spread things out a little better, instead of creating other controllable characters to further confuse players.
To try and explain it a little better... originally, this whole series was plotted out like a novel series and in a novel the story can cut to other characters and occurrences from one chapter to the next to let readers know what is going on behind the scenes that will lead the main characters to their next situation... I found, while doing Book One, jumping to other locations and characters (and their situations) made some people confused or frustrated that it didn't focus on just the Antichrist.
The Main Antagonist that the Antichrist is going to have to deal with first... even before dealing with the Angelions, Demonothans or Gaians, will be his own brother-in-law who has been working to wrest back control of the Family (and its fortune) that was awarded to the Antichrist by his father-in-law, Daryl Crawford Sr., and the plans of the Antichrist's brother-in-law (Daryl Crawford Jr.) includes utilizing Demonothan technology and some unsavorily people... the remnants of a criminal organization that was once known as "The Shade" (an organization responsible for human trafficking and mind control drugs as originally seen in the games "
Officer Chloe: Operation Infiltration" by Key' and the game "
Alansya Chronicles: Fleeting Iris" by Heaven Studios) and now goes by the name "The Rapture".
Before the Antichrist can deal with the Demonothans, Angelions and Gaians, he must first get his own house in order, by dealing with his brother-in-law and putting an end to the use of Demonothan technology by those who would only further destroy the family name... or make him look worse in other people's eyes and truly label him as the "Antichrist".
Originally, it was intended to have "Wicked Choices: Book Two" deal with that, with other people helping out in that endeavor... bouncing between characters as they worked to shut down everything that the Antichrist's brother-in-law put into motion, but... again, would've mean people being distracted away completely from the Antichrist's narrative, so those parts and character interactions were cut out to form separate games that take place along the same timeline of "Wicked Choices: Book Two".
By the end of "Wicked Choices: Bed Chambers", "Wicked Choices: Agents of Karma" and "Wicked Choices: Book Three" the cast of characters that the Antichrist can draw upon for the final battle stage will be set and then players will play the series conclusion in "Wicked Choices: Book Three".
Hope that helps a little better to explain why things are the way they are right now.
