haven't played this since it was separate prologue and part 1.....so awhile now

its a fantastic story and well put together. played it through a couple of times already and I shoulda been asleep some 3hrs ago........and can I just say that the amount of pert buttockage (yes its a word......maybe a bit made up....but I'm English and definitely remember going to at least 1 English lit. lesson.....in mind if not in body....ahem) is top draw ....full approval.....now when can I start venerating them?

i speak her for the win version, have no fruit or linux box myself
but the principle should be the same

1. i assume you have the main game installed, if not dl it and extract it to your desired location
2. dl the patch
3. extract the patch archive somewhere outside of your extracted game folder (keep folder structure)
4. now you should have a folder WickedChoices-pc
   
5. move the content (important, the content not the folder itself) to your main game folder
6. a popup should appear asking for overwrite permission, do it (in principle you have to allow every overwriting of files and folders)
   
7. if you did not recieve any question about overwrite permission, you did someting wrong and go back to #3
8. delete your now empty patch folder, go to your main game folder and have fun

Even if you decided to let Syrina treat you like her slave in chapter three, you need to restart the game or load one of my saves. All variables got deleted in your savegame, meaning the game could be loaded now and you got treated like you should have been but it was not because your savegame works but because the variable it asked for was set to False which would've also been the case if Syrina had treated you like her slave in chapter 3.... So no luck there, sorry.


p.S.: Yes the name was the only thing that still got saved (and some minor other things) but everything else is lost unfortunately

Palanto Games: where are these saves you refer to in the above message (download link)? I installed 4.2.2 (a bit later than most other people here, it seems) and the update. No saves included with that. Where are they?

Alright well I just wanted to say I downloaded this game on a lark, merely interested by the cover photo. I won't get into too many specifics but I'll say that I played it without looking at the tags. I was (to my immense delight) surprised by the prologue. Like, seriously. well done. @

and @Palanto Games, I would personally like to say that I will be following this game from now on. I can mention nothing that I personally found wrong with the game. I didn't come across any bugs, I loved each part of the story, and I ESPECIALLY love where this is going. This genre of game is one that interests me very highly (both the fantasy genre and the incest genre) and I love the different choices you give us and the plot twists that come into play as well. I would love to get into contact with you and talk more, because I can honestly say I would like to become a patron of yours. I just need a little bit more convincing to do that.

Well the game was checked by Patreon after the Claire and Michelle scenes by Patreon and was approved by them, see remarks about that by ASLPRO a few pages back. I guess that the strong story elements and it fitting within the story instead of the story being about incest makes it fall under their art exclusion clause.

I'm loving this game so far! I really appreciate a good story in my interactive smut, and this one does a very good job of telling it without feeling like you're being force-fed an encyclopedia's worth of fluff. The actual smut has been equally well done, too!

However, now that this game has passed the 2GB mark, have you given any thought to switching from PNG to another image format, like

? WebP offers benefits over both JPEG and PNG, namely smaller file sizes than either at the same level of quality. It can do lossless (like PNG) or lossy (like JPEG) compression, and even supports transparency for lossless images. Converting all the images in the game from PNG to lossy WebP images of the highest quality would shrink image sizes down by a little over 75% with no noticeable difference in quality. Ren'py has supported WebP for a little while.

Just saying, I love the game, I hate the download size :closedeyesmile:

Yeah, not a big fan of the download sizes either, which is why we are trying to streamline the "Update Patches" so that they just stack on each other to provide quick download times and the full game for players.

I'd consider WebP if they had an encoder that worked within Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, I have over 2000 images to my game already, and doing an online encoding system would be a grievous pain in the ass for me and as @Palanto Games stated, the reduction only cuts it down around to around 500mb... no matter what I do, right now, this game, when completed, is going to be monstrous by completion... which is why we are trying to go the route of updated patches that will remain between 300mb to 700mb.

*sigh* I thought I was being a good creator by doing it in HD... :'(

You're very welcome @Sierra3 and you are right... it really does feel weird when it starts to grow back out!! I was able to convince the wife to let me shave my head on September 11th, to donate my hair (10 inches of it) to Children with Hair Loss (wig company for kids with cancer) in honor of a friend of mine that died of cancer two years ago... but already it is past my collar now and she won't let me shave it down again. LOL

2nd time it worked. been playing for a bit , nice graphics but i don't really like all the changing of protagonist, nor the girls and parts of the story so i'm gonna stop playing. btw well done to the devs and gl for the future

hmm.. native webp support in ps would be cool, but why not use batch encoding before building your distro?

There is no need to use an online service. WebP has a converter ready to download and to be used locally.

Hi @buttlovinmagic!! Yeah it's been a while for you then.... and sorry to be the cause of so little sleep for you!!! It also keeps me up way late at nights... the game certainly has grown to epic proportions unlike some others that have been around as long as ours, that is for sure...

As for venerating the cute little, apple bottom girls... soon, very, very soon!!

The saves were removed with the new update @Ishnaga'untaar as they were only meant to get the players who have played multiple times to a point where they were at previously... they wouldn't be of much help to new players who aren't aware of the choices they made or why they made them, so they were removed.
