Maybe my comment sounded unfair, I recognize it. We can't avoid becoming skeptic or even pessimistic considering how the majority of these "big projects" tend to end (or not to end at all).

I still think the Demo was a very good foundation to keep. Perhaps a little too quick for what they plan, but that could be easily fixed. If the team is preparing something even better that wouldn't fit in that map anyway, not just to squeeze some 2 years more of development, well, time prove me wrong. I actually wish to be wrong.
It was removed because they changed the engine, I think they figured that there would be no point in spending development time to port that demo to the new engine when they could've just started working on the actual quests (which they are doing).

The beach demo map wasn't really suitable for anything else, if you go off the intended quest path there's literally nothing there. Fly around with Maya in sandbox and you'll see how small it actually is. It was just a showcase for what the game might be like with more polish.

i really don't get it... why not adding the saving system yet!??? Why not having actually active checkpoints, at least, like when we have the chance of switching from Max to Maya as soon as the Max&Co yield to the agreements with Agon and his people, for example!?
C'mon... it was possible in the original village demo as soon as Max completed the ribbons challenge with Shorty, why not replicating the same checkpoint save in this new one!?

Honestly that's the only thing that's keeping me not fully invested in playing this game. I understand everything Steve and the other guys are doing and being a game dev myself I've never complained on anything they do or not do but that feature, specially when what seems the definitive beginning of the game with quests and progress gets released, should be the very first priority.
Having to restart it all from the very beginning after 3-4 hours of gameplay is something no adult, with a life and a job, can easily accept.
I'm sorry for the rant, I just hope is not useless.

Ended the rant right there: the passage to 5.2 is very welcome for me despite it was causing the game to crash instantly, when accessing the WIP new start, unless I dropped it all from Epic down to Low.
The same most likely happens to me when I'm developing my own stuff on the same engine so no complain, I now added some new RAM going from 16 to 32GB [Corsair Vengeance, 2666MHz] and a new SSD twice the size of the now old one so i could finally switch it all back to High at least and things got quite better, with RAM now used to a 52-55%.
Which means without those additional 16GB no surprise I was crashing like that and that's good news for when I finally start working on the new content introduced with UE5.2, like HillSide and the new Slay Animation projects.

WildLife now runs at around 18fps but it's ok for me, I cannot ask more to my proud old GTX 1070 [8GB] and I can finally enjoy the new content.
I hope you appreciate this conclusive sudden fresh exposure of positivity... but... please Steve&Co... scatter those checkpoints across the new map, for all the Karpali's sake!!!

What the heck happen to the maps, it seems that the objects are no spawing like houses, trees, rocks and so on ?

You can do all that, you just don't know how to do it
i wish the devs gave us the option to create mods/sex scenes/clothes like honey select 2 but i guess thats what happens when a porn game is made in a capitalistic economy
There are already tutorials out there in youtube and discord, I didn't try to shame you, you're just very sensitive and defensive.
That's not even me. I just made an observation and pointed out your toxic criticism because it's a public forum. Oh, the irony of sensitive and defensive here.

maker? :illuminati:
Just saw this one and came here to ask about how he did that bulge, it's a custom animation but that bulge seems to deform a lot more than you get in-game which makes me wonder about how much control over the characters does one have when one wants to do custom animations, are custom morphs possible/characters or can we only use default morphs and default characters for actual animations (unless this is not an actual character, at least not as the game thinks of it and instead a custom model animated and with the animation somehow baked in as to make it animated and then just scaled down and the male character does that specific animation and it's synced).

Would be great if the author came and maybe shared some secrets but not sure who he is and if he is around here.

all i want is soft cloth physics, honey select had this aswell for some skirts. But from what ive seen this is planned anyway its probably not coming any time soon tho, the best cloth physics ive ever seen in a game was from babylon project an open world RPG like wild life made by CobaltUDK the game has mild sexual themes but i could not see any active sex, i have high hopes on this this one especially since its a 1 man project and he came so far already.
