Video games take a while to go from concept to finished product, and often change drastically in scope during development as the developer runs into roadblocks and technical limitations.

Everyone was memeing on Star Citizen as a Kickstarter scam until Cloud Imperium released an extremely impressive 20 minute trailer for Squadron 42. Now those haters are all mysteriously MIA.

And, unlike Star Citizen backers who have to spend $200 on a digital spaceship, Wild Life backers (and all the freeloaders on this website) get porn to jerk it to while the actual game is developed.

They are not really mia, you are just blind. No one still knows when is it going to be released and it has been in development for 11 years or so. Dev recently said it is finally "feature complete" and now they will be "polishing" it. One day it will be finished, I am sure of it :KEK: Btw The Day Before was impressive too and look at how it turned out.

Speaking facts.
The game in my humble opinion is on a great path and doing better than many games I've seen throughout my life. I think a lot of people get upset because they see this mountain of support and money on patreon, but don't understand where much of it genuinely has to go. If you do some research and investigation, you can see the Wild Life devs aren't living like kings and queens and they are almost constantly working, just like a real job. Patreon is a good system and helps fund games, but it can also be incredibly misleading to those that don't understand the financial struggles that are present in a project like this.
They're doing a great job and totally deserve the kind words and donations.

Imagine defending a "dev" who cannot develop a game within 7 years. It must be hard living with room temperature iq you have. But by all means go on, suck their cocks even more. I just hope you are not doing this for free.
Again you had to simplify and all you have in response is "w-well they took 7 years". For somebody who types pages of belligerent nonsense and bullshit, you sure have the worst reading comprehension of anybody i've met in a while. Almost like none of this matters and it's just about your ego. Pissing and shitting yourself and insulting anybody who dared disagree and at best being passive aggressive, over nothing except the chip on your shoulder. Yeah, you're a pussy. I'll let the other more reasonable posters more kindly explain why you're wrong and have zero understanding of the things that happen in game development or project funding.

The problem is you're working off of the assumption that people care as deeply about this as you do and that they're somehow being fooled or coerced. And you clearly do, otherwise it wouldn't be worth your time to spend so many visits to this forum just to talk about it. In reality the formula is far simpler:

1. People see a thing and assess if they want it or not. If they don't, then they stop at this step and find something else that they do want.
2. If the thing costs money, consumers decide if they want to spend money on it. Some do, while others either decide that the thing is no longer desirable or they see if they can acquire it for free. In either case, people either consume it or they don't.
3. Repeat until the earth is out of resources to consume.

If people want a thing, they will pursue it. Wild Life has 10,962 paid members on its Patreon page at the time of writing this. That means 10,962 people have decided this is something they want to put money towards, regardless if it's "Clown World: The Game" or the literal second coming of Christ. Anyone else apart from those 10K who have visited the page have decided if they will either pirate it (myself included) or simply don't wish to consume it (which I would presume to include yourself). That's about all that has to happen there; the decision-making process is complete. Hanging around a thread about it just to tell people about all the money you've decided not to spend on it is pointless for any purpose except attention-seeking, like someone marching around in front of a Walmart with a cardboard sign complaining about a brand of crackers they have never bought.

Those 10,962 people are free to pull their pledges as soon as they feel they aren't getting their money's worth. I'm enjoying the sex animations for the wank material they provide, and couldn't care less if the game never has functional RPG mechanics. It sure wouldn't be the first time a lewd would-be RPG has oversold itself and only ended up being good for a few wet tissues along the way (hello, Legend of Krystal). But you're protesting this as if these backers aren't fully aware of the current state of the game (they are, and can download whatever the latest build is at any time to check) or that they're somehow prevented from revoking their funding. The fact that they continue to pay means that all 10K are happy enough with what they see, regardless the long timeline, broken promises, compromises made, engine changes, or any other facet about the game or its developer. It doesn't matter if you find this box of crackers not to your liking and argue left and right that there are better brands to snack on, because apparently plenty of others find these to be fine enough to spend money on (or at least, fine enough to steal). Your wallet has cast its vote, and others will continue do the same. Trying to change the fundamental basis of consumerism on a porn game pirate forum can only reduce your quality of life.

To spin it another way: a man is standing on a street corner with a sign that reads "will poke you in the eye for $1". There is a lineup ten thousand strong wrapping around the block waiting to pay him for this service. You walk by and think, "Well that's a silly thing to spend money on," and then keep walking, enjoying the rest of your day and chuckling at the things people will pay for. Or, you can devote a portion of your time for the remainder of your life trying to convince people already in line that they don't know what they're lining up for, when there are signs clearly marked at the start of the queue and at checkpoints along the way that read "Lineup for Eye-Poking - $1".

Personally, I'd like to think I have better things on which to spend my time.

I literally told you your precious developer and precious game has no legit excuse, didn't I? Look at who has the worst reading comprehension. Also it is funny how you have nothing to say except throwing random insults.

Worst analogy ever. Patreon page states this game is a role playing game. Do you see any role playing mechanics in this "game"? Can you level up? Can you build your character stats the way you want? Do you have dialogue choices that affect story of the game? Can you fight? Can you loot and earn items, equipment etc? Are there main and side quests that you can do? Does the world offer dangers and rewards for exploration? Can you grind levels to beat a boss you couldn't before? Can you cast magic? Can you use swords? Can you use bows? Can you fight npc's not because they are scripted enemies but just because you want to fight them? Those are core gameplay mechanics of role playing games. So, where exactly does this "game" fit in your analogy?

The problem is you're working off of the assumption that people care as deeply about this as you do...
They should, including you. Because every time you or anyone else defends or pays for this type of "game" you are actively encouraging other wanna be scammers to do the same. Which in turn affects everyone else, pirate or not because the whole industry gets filled with patreon scam games. And guess what, I want to play atleast decent porn games.

I'll continue saying this until I get this through everyone's thick skull and I do not care if you are a pirate or not. Games, porn game or not, do not take 9 billions of years to develop. Games can be developed within 4 years with no income from patreon or similar sites.

But you're protesting this as if these backers aren't fully aware of the current state of the game
This is your assumption. I am protesting scams because anyone who supports them directly negatively affects the whole industry and we all get shitty games as a result.

Trying to change the fundamental basis of consumerism on a porn game pirate forum can only reduce your quality of life.
Honestly, arguing about how consumerism works on a pirate forum can only reduce your quality of life. Not to mention you are arguing in defense of a scam. So, feel free to leave this thread or ignore me if you are so bothered by my comments.

so your solution is to continue banging your head against the wall?
I’m sure if he shrieks just for a few more pages, all 10,000 backers will finally pull their money out of this plainly-obvious scam and the entire project will collapse overnight. It’s all just for the good of the industry, guys, promise.

He also conveniently forgets that big Early Access games with long development that eventually go tits up are no new thing. Not even a little. Hell, look at The Day Before for an example. We still get good quality games in the world, regardless. It’s just a bizarre thing to invest so very much effort into being mad about it all over one single title.

“This thing is a scam.”
“Okay, maybe it is.”
“But you don’t understand; it’s a SCAM!”
“Yeah and that’s why I’m not paying for it.”
“AREN’T YOU LISTENING?! IT’S. A. SCAM!!!”

Someone ping me if Purple_Heart needs any more cardboard or spare sharpies for their picket sign. The world must know that they don’t want to buy this game and their thoughts about anyone who might even consider it.

Anyone knows how to fix the "AudioX 2.7 not installed"? because the game runs fine but without audio.

If they were claiming the game to be complete, then this would be an issue. However, they do not.

It’s admirable that you think Wild Life is such a massively influential incomplete porn game that it will inspire vast swaths of future developers to follow its example for years to come, but I don’t think you can demonstrate that claim.

I think I’ll stick around awhile, because this is usually where the torrents for this wank material animation player get posted when it’s not busy kicking people’s dogs, causing cancer, and being generally unsavoury. But honestly, I’m not bothered at all by your remarks or the rabid fervour with which you write them. I’m just baffled by the investment of effort. I think I can agree though, there’s likely little more to gain from this discussion.

This could be due to a driver missing or misbehaving. XAudio 2 is apparently a component that originally shipped with DirectX 9, but has been reused in several iterations since. If you know you have new-enough DirectX drivers, then you may want to try reinstalling your computer’s sound driver. If not that, open the command prompt as an administrator and run sfc /scannow to see if that patches it up at the system level (such as if the driver is installed but cannot be accessed).

Anyone else has issues of game totally bugging out (in sandbox) if pressing 0 (zero) on the keyboard? Just everything like freezes and I have to reset the game. I've lumen on ultra and everything like leaves trails on the screen and persistents even after closing the menu.

For the last 2 versions the Universal Unreal Unlocker (UUU) is not working. I have the latest version, anyone knows a workaround?

If I remember correctly, I think 0 is the hotkey to activate VR mode. Could be that it's trying to switch to a headset or at least trying to start the renderer in that mode and can't continue. I'd check in the keybinds to see if that's still the case (I'm at work so I can't check myself) and unmap it if you don't have VR. Alternatively, make a shortcut to the game and add a -nohmd argument to the shortcut target to always start the game with VR disabled.

As for the trailing visual effects, that might be the result of a “sweetening” feature on your graphics card; something like NVIDIA frame generation or DLSS trying to create extra frames or smoothing the ones being rendered. I’ve had weird “ghost” effects in some games from NVIDIA’s FG tech, especially if I leave my view lingering on something too long and the AI thing “learns” that it should keep generating something in that space. You could try disabling some of those features to see if the issue goes away. Apart from that, try reinstalling video drivers.

So, anything is ok as long as game has alpha, beta or early access status? Even if said status takes billions of years and influences other developers to do the same?

It’s admirable that you think Wild Life is such a massively influential incomplete porn game that it will inspire vast swaths of future developers to follow its example for years to come, but I don’t think you can demonstrate that claim.
Supporting a scam on one of the most popular porn game forums on the internet. What could go wrong?
Capture.PNG
I need your help on this totally unclear and puzzling feature of f95zone. Does it say 17.5 million views in that screenshot that I took or am I blind?

I’m just baffled by the investment of effort.
I'm also baffled by your efforts on protecting this game or its developer. Writing all that crap just to support a scam seems too stupid if you ask me. It is not like game is updated everyday. And even if it was, no one would bother uploading it here everyday. So I don't understand what could you possibly gain by checking this thread everyday. That doesn't make any sense unless this is alt account of someone.

Between the trolling and the feeding of the troll it's getting reeeeally hard to find actual information or content in this thread
Absolutely true, my same thought, that's why I looked for a solution and found it.
If you have anything to ask or share just feel free to go for it, I'll definitely do the same.
