the sandbox is actually a pretty hefty custom content creator with a decent modding community if that interests you.

Custom contant as in watch poses. I've seen people use WL to make images/short clips for their porn story/game.
But lets not forget that this is supposed to be a GAME.

Why are you mentally 10? Can you not see that games have grown exponentially in size for little gain? It's a matter of principle.
Devs are lazy and do not optimize. Very few games can actually justify their file size.
Why ship a game with 8K textures? Have that thing as an extra download FFS.

You sound like an angry child. Definitely not someone with any Game Development experience... because a person with that kind of experience would not sound as ignorant as you do now. Just because the size is not convenient, does not make it illegitimate. There are no 8k textures. There certainly are unoptimizations given its still an Alpha test build, but that isn't going to reduce the file size to the extent you're eluding too regardless. I get that it's a pain to download, but ranting about it doesn't change fill sizes or compression efficiency.

Download the non censored build. You've probably downloaded the "Public" build instead of a members build

I have a brand new PC with more than enough power and HD space. I do not have access to unlimited internet all the time as I move around, but that isn't the issue.
